Then we can request absentee ballots, fill them out, and had deliver the ballots to the collection ballots prior to election day.
Bonus: We will have bypassed the voting machines that corporations have rigged.

In 2016 agents of Russia burrowed into American culture through Facebook. The assumed American identities and fanned the flames of racism with posts of lies and innuendo.
Now its been recreated domestically. Skinheads, NAZI, KKK and other right wing zealots are posing as "antifa" to generate headlines and create a false narrative. While Democrats talk policy ideas, the far right just campaigns on dirty tricks and violence. The far right has no interest in solving problems in America.
Last night's performance by community police
has removed any empathy for the job they do. Its like it was a universal action against the people they "serve and protect."
No time for them. And I'm one of those 60's guys who didn't lose the faith. In my 70's now and still sit on the left side of society.
George Floyd hypothetical:
Let's suppose that George Floyd did not die and instead was taken into custody for passing a counterfeit $20 bill. After being charged, I imagine he would need some sort of bail to insure that he appeared in court later this summer.
Let's suppose that the citizen's who videoed the incident brought the video to the police with complaints of excess force. Do we think that any action would be taken to address the knee on the neck either with the police force or the individual officer?
I'm sure that George Floyd would have eventually had the charges dropped or be on some sort of probation. I'm also sure that Minneapolis police (and many others across the United States) would continue to cross over the line of enforcement.
Let's hope that this time we move to be a more inclusive society, and that our society removes the violence from community policing. The police are way too invested in the military style engagements and too often become accuser, judge, jury and executioner. They need to be refocused and reeducated.

Its ironic that the most powerful country in world history
cannot defend itself against this virus. Since World War II our military industrial complex has given us massive power around the globe. Yet we failed to defend our health, devalued our education and dismissed science.
So we face an enemy that bombs and armies cannot stop, and need science, education and a health system that have been dismissed as elitism.
If we are lucky we won't regress into another Stone Age.
Insurance for Essential Workers
I've been bothered by the president's use of power to open meat packing plants, while disregarding the deaths that will eventually come from his actions. I think that these workers should be given some form of life insurance as part of their pay. It costs nothing for the federal government, state government and corporations to force these people into harm's way. The least that can be done for the families of the workers is to have financial security if the worker loses his life. Sure the worker could get own insurance, but shouldn't the risk be shared by those who make decisions.
I think that should be true of all workers who have been deemed essential. Families should have some stability if they give up a loved one for the greater good.

Our Justice Department wants to do away with habeas corpus, Labor will no longer enforce Affirmative Action and environmental rules have been suspended. The president scoffs at the needs of health care professionals.
This is the coup. This is class warfare from the top down. There will be help for the Blue areas of America, but it will be too little and too late. "How could anyone know it would be this bad?"
Just a question about "deep cleaning" Mara Lago (sic)...
What organization is paying to have a business "deep cleaned?" Is it the Trump organization, or the United States taxpayers?
