Why isn't Netanyahu worried about trump and Russia?

Russia has always supported the Palestinians.

Are the Republicans looking for planted material?

Is it possible that hackers have tried to place damaging material in Hillary Clintons emails? Their zealous persuit of her email material leads me to put on a tinfoil hat. They seem frustrated that it can't be found.

From 2009: Porn in the USA: Conservatives Are Biggest Consumers

So it shouldn't surprise anyone that Conservatives (probably White males) don't find any fault with Trump's actions.

I won't gloat, but I am pleased that

the Republicans have basically conceded the next 20 years on the Supreme Court to progressives. I suspect that Clinton will be a two term president, so there will be 4 to 6 positions on the court to fill. This was my greatest concern heading into this election. This will allow Clinton I judges to retire and force some of Bush appointments into retirement. Its the best news for our country!

People who vote for Trump: FU America

Voters who select Donald Trump are giving the United States a big f**k you. There is more than enough evidence to prove that Trump doesn't deserve votes from the American electorate. But a large number of people have decided that they resent minorities, can't deal with women as equals, and reject the economic systems now in place, so they will vote for Trump to upset the apple cart, regardless of the unintended consequences.

Its a scary thought, that so many Americans are upset with their lives. Worse yet, they will vote for an individual and a group of people who will make their lives worse.

I'm guessing that Trump is in Romney's 47%!

He pays few taxes and uses the government to supplement his income.

(Just an observation)

Note: As a retired couple, my wife and I pay more taxes than Donald Trump. Taxes we are proud to pay!

Frustrating to watch local news...

In such a brief time, they try to capture an issue or two with a sound bite from each candidate. In order to not offend their audience, they balance the report, rather than describe the event. Perhaps local news should just indicate that there was a debate and leave it at that.

Republican Party to the United States: FU

This is it, the last stand of the white, male, protestant bigot and those who worship that group. They have selected a candidate that reflects their view: "America is for us, not you!"

In fact, they have had all of the benefits that come with white privilege. They have had the best education, the best of middle class life, and all that goes with it. Because the market economy has not favored them, they are telling the rest of us: FU. They can't share with others, they can't think critically and are easily manipulated.

The Republican Party has devolved into this because 20 years ago, they took a contract out on America and ceased to be active in solving America's problems.

Thank goodness, every day there are fewer of them. Eventually, they will go away and cease to be part of a greater country.

Trump as a business opportunity...

After reading about the Florida paint dealer who bested trump in court, it occurred to me that enterprising young attorneys could have a nice career by following g trump around and offering their services to every business that trump stiffs. Probably lots of work for the legal team, plus the benefit of getting their pay from trump in court costs. What a country!i

Silly me...

All along I thought Donald Trump had a schtick...on his television show, in interviews, even in his campaign. But I'm just becoming aware that he is who he claims to be. He is the braggart, the bully, the kid in school that thinks he knows everything, but, in fact, has done nothing, and really is "The Emperor with No Clothes."

I'm older, but when I taught, I liked to show kids parts of the film, "Captain's Courageous," a marvelous adaption of the book of the same name. Trump is Harvey Cheyne, the prep school meanie. In the film (without giving too much away), Harvey has a life changing experience. In my mind, Donald Trump has never had a event that caused him to doubt himself. Further, he has probably fired anyone who was honest with him.

I read about the wall and immigration, the banning of Muslims, the California drought, his university, and last night, his claim to have broken the glass ceiling for women. He is what he claims to be.

All along, I thought that he was trying to set up the bigots and racists. I thought he was trying to see how far decent Republicans were willing to go (apparently quite far) in their hatred of the Clintons.

So much for a schtick. Silly me.
