Trump "administration official" calls travel ban "a massive success story on every single level"

A senior administration official said the executive orders signed by Trump on Friday, which bars the admission of Syrian refugees and suspends travel to the United States from Syria, Iraq, Iran and four other countries on national security grounds, was being fully enforced by relevant agencies.

"Nothing has changed," said the official, briefing reporters on condition of anonymity as rallies against the move erupted across the United States.

U.S. judges in at least five states blocked federal authorities from enforcing the order. Lawyers representing people covered by the order said, however, that some authorities were unwilling to follow the court rulings.

The administration official rejected criticism of the way Trump's plan had been implemented, saying: "So it really is a massive success story in terms of implementation on every single level."

"We know all their names."

“Who is cleaning house,” Conway asked. “Which one is going to be the first network to get rid of these people who said things that were just not true? Talk about fake news, talk about alternative facts.”

After complaining about how her coining the term “alternative facts” was the only thing that attention from her Sunday show appearances last week, Conway once again called for networks to can pundits and commentators who have “talked smack” about Trump.

Not one network person has been let go. Not one silly political analyst and pundit who talked smack all day long about Donald Trump has been let go. They’re on panels every Sunday, they are on cable news every day. Who is the first editorial writer, where is the first blogger that will be let go that embarrassed his or her outlets? We know all their names.

Conway also told Wallace she was “too polite to call them out by name” but that they “know who they are.”

President Donald Trump reportedly hosted a screening of the movie Finding Dory on Sunday while protests erupted across the world in response to an executive order banning travelers from seven majority-Muslim countries.

Soon after protests broke out over green card holders being detained at U.S. airports on Saturday, the White House released a Sunday schedule which reserved the president’s afternoon for a movie screening.

Giuliani claims Trump asked him how to ban Muslims "the right way, legally"

Rudy Giuliani said Donald Trump came to him for guidance on implementing a so-called “Muslim ban” and from that, he helped construct the controversial order crippling international travel from predominantly Muslim countries.

The ex-NYC mayor said he pitched the ban, not as a religious prohibition, but one focused on “danger,” he said on Fox News late Saturday.

“I’ll tell you the whole history of it,” Giuliani told Jeanine Pirro as a Brooklyn judge thwarted President Trump’s executive order. “When he first announced it, he said ‘Muslim ban.’ ”

“He called me up, he said ‘put a commission together, show me the right way to do it, legally.’ ”

Trump's wall would cost the average American an extra $200 a year in items imported from Mexico

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Love it or hate it, building a wall between the US and Mexico is going to cost a staggering amount of money. Estimates range between $15 to 25 billion. That's so much money - if you laid the dollars bills end to end, they wouldn't just stretch across the Mexican border, they'd wrap around the entire globe 97 times!

To cover those costs President Donald Trump floated the idea of taxing goods coming in from Mexico at least 20 percent. If the current amount of trade stays the same- that tax would generate enough money to pay off the wall in six months. But that 20 percent means your wallet could take a serious hit.

One of the biggest places you'd feel that tax is in your kitchen. 69 percent of veggies imported into the US are from Mexico for example this Avocado currently sells for 98 cents. But under the tax proposal it would be $1.18. Meaning you're paying $0.20 more. Of course there are other products made in Mexico too like UNC cover for your beer. It sells for $5.47 now. You'd pay $1.10 more for that. And then there are the products partially made in Mexico. The cost of those parts will go up too.

So what's the total cost to you? Here's our best estimate. Divide Mexico's total imports by the US population - and the average American spends about 990 bucks on Mexican stuff every year. Now factor in the 20 percent tax, and you're spending almost 200 dollars more per year on items imported from Mexico.

Onion: Lindsey Graham Cowers Behind Tree Trunk As Trumps Hunting Dogs Close In

Lindsey Graham Cowers Behind Tree Trunk As Trump’s Hunting Dogs Close In

Exhausted and barely able to stand, Sen. Lindsey Graham can only listen in terror as the yelping from President Trump’s hounds grows louder and louder.

GREENVILLE, SC—After 36 hours on the run through the woodlands of South Carolina, a bloodied and exhausted Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) reportedly cowered behind the trunk of a willow tree Wednesday as President Donald Trump’s vicious hunting dogs closed in on him.

According to sources, Graham has spent the past day and night wading across frigid creeks, slogging into fetid swampland, and crashing through thickets of thorny brambles in an effort to evade Trump’s pack of hounds, but he has not been able to shake the president’s determined hunting party.

“Please, God, let me make it out of here alive,” the 61-year-old senator whispered to himself, trying to quiet his ragged breathing as the animals frantically searched the ground just above the hollow where he lay hiding. “Please.”

“If I can just make it to Virginia, (former Rep.) Scott (Rigell) will help me—he has to,” added Graham, apparently unaware the same dogs had ripped the recently retired Republican congressman to pieces a few days prior in reprisal for calling Trump a “con man” during the presidential campaign.

Kellyanne Conway: "I Was Stopped Many Times After 9/11" Though I Don't "Resemble" Terrorists

Kellyanne Conway: ‘I Was Stopped Many Times After 9/11’ Though I Don’t ‘Resemble’ Terrorists

WASHINGTON ― Kellyanne Conway, top advisor to President Donald Trump, suggested on Sunday that she understands what it’s like for immigrants and refugees to be detained at U.S. airports because her own travels were slowed down after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

“I was stopped many times ... after 9/11,” she said on “Fox News Sunday.” “I didn’t resemble, or share a name with, or be part of any kind of terrorist conspiracy, but this is what we do to keep a nation safe.”

Conway was defending Trump’s sweeping executive order on immigration, which halts refugee resettlement for 120 days, bans Syrian refugees from entering the U.S., and for 90 days blocks individuals from seven Muslim-majority countries: Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. Scores of immigrants and refugees were detained at U.S. airports over the weekend as protesters around the country demanded for them to be let go.

Late Saturday night, a federal judge in Brooklyn, New York, temporarily blocked parts of Trump’s immigration ban, ruling that sending refugees back to their home countries could cause “irreparable harm.”
