WASHINGTON — For the modest price of $3.5 million, you can have a five-bedroom, eight-bathroom mansion along Embassy Row in Northwest D.C.
The nearly 100-year-old Mediterranean-style villa is bank-owned and priced to move, down from its original $4.5 million price tag.
The catch? The neighbor to this house at 3400 Massachusetts Ave. N.W. is VPOTUS himself, the vice president of the United States of America. His home at Number One Observatory Circle is a bit bigger and sits on a larger chunk of prime real estate called the U.S. Naval Observatory.
Don't worry, current residents say the VP isn't much of a bother. In fact, Vice President Joe Biden has never even asked to borrow a cup of sugar. "He has not, and I'm just waiting. Like, 'Hello, when's the block party?'" Marie-Louise Murville, a nearby resident said.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Rep. Paul Ryan on Thursday formally declared his candidacy for speaker of the House after getting unified support from across the Republican conference.
"After talking with so many of you, and hearing your words of encouragement, I believe we are ready to move forward as a one, united team," Ryan said in a letter to colleagues. "And I am ready and eager to be our speaker."
The Wisconsin lawmaker and onetime GOP vice presidential nominee will be all but assured of triumphing in elections next week.
Ryan sought unity from divided Republicans as a condition for his candidacy. He succeeded in getting support from three major caucuses within the GOP, including the hardline Freedom Caucus that forced the current speaker, John Boehner, to announce his resignation.

If you want a truly thorough knowledge of what makes me tick, I'm happy to report that a soon to be released biography of me hits the bookstores on November 3. Simply called "Huckabee, The Authorized Biography", Scott Lamb has spent almost 2 years talking to my grade school classmates, family members, friends, and co-workers over my 60 years. Scott wrote the biography on baseball great Albert Pujols and you will enjoy his style.
It will hit bookstores in November 3, but you can pre-order from Amazon at the link below.
Scott dug up stuff about me that I didn't even know! If you sometimes get asked questions about why you support me or who I am, this book might provide the answers and background. I was very pleased with how it came out. It's pretty much the story, warts and all, but insightful.

Man Tries to Break Into Michigan Pizza Restaurant, Gets Stuck in Pizza Oven Vent Pipe

The 32-year-old man tried to break into an unnamed pizza shop in Clarkston, Michigan, on October 18, but got stuck in the pipe and screamed for help.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department received a call that someone was yelling for help, and deputies found the man trapped in the vent pipe. He removed the vent cap on the roof and climbed down into the exhaust air duct. He was stuck halfway between the roof and floor for almost 11 hours, officials told CBS Detroit.
Firefighters rescued the man from the pipe, but he was uncooperative with deputies once he got out and was arrested. The man was also taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries and dehydration. Formal charges are still pending for the failed robbery.
