Miles Archer's JournalJohnny Depp Intends To Buy Site Of Wounded Knee Massacre, Gift It Back To The Native American People
In an interview by The Daily mail on Sunday, actor Johnny Depp disclosed his mission and intention to purchase the historical site Wounded Knee, and then give it back to the native Indian people. He continued on sharing that he is prepared to spend millions if it is necessary to ensure control of the land is returned to those that have inherited it, and right a wrong that occurred back in 1890. Its very sacred ground and many atrocities were committed against the Sioux there, he said. And in the 1970s there was a stand-off between the Feds (Federal government) and the people who should own that land. This historical land is so important to the Sioux culture and all I want to do is buy it and give it back. Why doesnt the government do that?
Maybe it was the fact that Johnny played the role of Tonto in the movie The Lone Ranger that helped him see the native Indian people in a new light that inspired him to pursue such a mission. The actions of Johnny Depp will be felt and appreciated by many people. Depp has spent the majority of his time by surrounding himself with research about the many different Indian tribes and was able to receive their approval before the filming of the Lone Ranger even began. The respect that Johnny Depp holds for the Native American culture and people run extremely deep, and during the filming of the movie he ensured that the people involved did right by the Indian in the way that the various tribes were portrayed.
In a lengthy interview, that was conducted Johnny Depp stated, The idea was to give back to them and to make sure that we got it right.
This picture of the Miniconjou Sioux band was taken near the site of the Wounded Knee massacre one month before the December 1890 massacre where hundreds of Indians were killed.
According to the sources of the news, Johnny Depp is hyper-focused on ensuring that he follows through with his plan. Sources are asking $3.9 million for the purchase of Wounded Knee, which tends to be but a fraction of what Depp makes from just one production. That being said, there is little to nothing that stands in his way of keeping true to his promise to the native Americans.
APPARENTLY Ben didn't get the memo about no crying in baseball...or presidentin'
https://www.facebook.com/topic/Ben-Carson/111496148866390?Ben Carson: Republican Presidential Candidate Says Running for President Is 'Pretty Brutal'
"Obviously, going through a process like this is pretty brutal. Everybody told me that it would be, so that doesnt particularly surprise me," Carson told The Washington Post about his campaign.
The fact that Republicans are PISSED OFF at Paul Ryan and his "Muslim beard" is DEE-licious.
Conservative pundit Ann Coulter says Ryan, just seven weeks on the job, is ripe for a primary challenge. Paul Ryan Betrays America, blared a headline on the conservative site Breibart.com. And Twitter is littered with references to the Wisconsin Republicans new Muslim beard.
Ryan is refusing to let the attacks go unanswered and is using his megaphone as the nations top elected Republican to try to drown out the chorus of conservative critics.
After Congress passed the nearly $2 trillion government funding and tax-cuts package last week, Ryan touted conservative victories in a roundtable with Capitol Hill reporters, on NBCs Meet the Press on Sunday, and again during a trio of interviews with friendly conservative talk radio hosts Michael Medved, Hugh Hewitt and his old political mentor, Bill Bennett.
He will continue to talk directly to conservatives throughout the country as he has always done, a Ryan aide said.
Dr. Ben's prescription? No, it's not more cowbell. It's "a more robust response to false attacks."
"One thing I want to do is have a much more robust response to attacks, particularly when they are false," he said. "We've kind of taken a nonchalant attitude toward that. I think that's the wrong thing to do. So you'll see much more aggressiveness in that region."
He cited questions raised by the media about his violent past or whether he had received a scholarship to West Point as examples. He also took issue with what he called a "narrative" that he lacks foreign policy expertise.
"If you go back and you look at the things that I have been saying about foreign policy over the last year, you'll see that they're the very things that everybody else is talking about now. And right now, you know, I'm talking about the fact that we cannot be distracted by Iraq and Syria only," he said.
Carson also defended his soft-spoken style and said he doesn't need to be a loud talker to prove he has the chops to be president.

Pondering Stephen Colbert's remarks, who do we think the "machine" actually wanted?
I agree with Colbert's observation, so my question for DU is "Who do you think the "machine" actually "wanted?"
I find it hard to believe that they visualized Jeb going the distance. My guess is Cruz. I have more than a few conservative friends who see right past the "crazy," because they choose to believe the crazy doesn't exist. A few like Carson but don't really go deep on him, either.
"There's a populism to Trump that I found very appealing," Colbert said. "The party elders would like him to go away but the people have decided that he is not going to. I may disagree with anything that he's saying and think that his proposals are a little ... well, more than a little shocking. But there is something really hopeful about the fact that, well, 36 percent of the likely voters want him so the people in the machine don't get to say otherwise. That's the one saving grace, I think, of his candidacy.
Florida man (HIM AGAIN???) shoplifts two sex toys that he was "too embarassed to buy"
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/christopher-masters-steals-butt-plug-because-hes-embarrassed-to-buy-it-police_56745821e4b014efe0d54fda?utm_hp_ref=weird-news&ir=Weird%2BNews§ion=weird-news
Christopher Masters, 33, was arrested Dec. 10 after a manager at a Spencer's Gifts store in Vero Beach, Florida, reported seeing him stick two sex toys down his khaki shorts, according to The Smoking Gun.
The cost of both products: $29.98.
When Masters left the store with his shorts allegedly loaded with toys, store security detained him.
The security staff told police that Masters supposedly admitted that he had enough money to pay for them, but was too embarrassed to pay for them because they were sex toys, according to the Palm Beach Post. Masters was arrested and taken to the Indian River County Jail and charged with one misdemeanor shoplifting count.
"Believe me, I don't want to just bomb people..."
"Believe me, I don't want to just bomb people," he told a crowd in Keene, New Hampshire, this weekend.
Instead, Carson has found a better way: You just tell those people driving those trucks that theyre going to get bombed if they drive those trucks.
I would just say, Hey, guys, any truck coming out of there is getting bombed. So if you dont want your people to die, dont put them in the truck. You know, that makes a lot more sense to me, Carson explained.
So, to wit, Carson doesn't agree with how the Obama administration is dealing with ISIS oil truck drivers. But he also doesn't believe that these truck drivers should be capriciously bombed. So, he's going to give them a friendly heads up.
