With water cannons and Southern belles, Trump ends thank you tour
But he pulled his punches when it came to first lady Michelle Obama, who in excerpts from an interview with Oprah Winfrey set to air on CBS on Monday, said: We feel the difference now. See, now, were feeling what not having hope feels like.
I honestly believe she meant that statement in a different way than it came out, Trump said.

With some Democrats now saying the Electoral College should be abandoned and that the presidential election should be decided by the popular vote, Trump said hes happy with the system the way it is now.
I never appreciated it until now, how genius it was, he said.
The 2016 Sh*tgibbon Victory Lap Tour Of What Used To Be America sadly concludes in Mobile, Alabama.
President-elect Donald Trump will hold his last Thank You tour rally of the 2016 in Mobile, Alabama at the Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
The rally, expected to begin at 4PM ET.
During the campaign, Trump held a rally at the same location that drew an estimated 30,0000 gawkers.
While this is the last rally for this year, there have been rumblings from the Trump camp that Trump may make rallies a regular feature of his presidency where he can soak up the adulation of his followers.

At least some of the bidders hoped to discuss government business with the executive vice president of The Trump Organization and president/CEO of the Ivanka Trump Brand.
A London-based investment manager said he bid nearly $60,000 to enjoy coffee with Ivanka Trump to learn more about her fathers possible future dealings with Turkey, which were the subject of a bombshell explosive Newsweek report this week, and other nations where he invests.
The newspaper reported that other bidders include the owner of a Houston-based restaurant chain who wants to ask about immigration policy and a real estate executive and fringe presidential candidate from Florida who wants to discuss claims of election fraud.

Amazon reviewer: "BEWARE! I put (Ivanka's boots) on and I was transported back to Berlin in 1933"
Tricky Internet jokesters are inundating the review page for a pair of Ivanka Trumps bootswith 1-star posts, conspicuously threading their punny political opinions throughout.
Every time I tried to express my opinions, I was horrified to find myself bellowing, HEIL TRUMP! one use wrote. Very embarrassing.
BUYER BEWARE! another warned. These boots are some sort of port key or wrinkle in the space time continuum. I put them on and I was transported back to Berlin in 1933.

Rep. Peter King Urges Donald Trump To Create A Federal Muslim Surveillance Program
Source: Huffington Post
NEW YORK ― Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) is encouraging Donald Trump to create a federal Muslim surveillance program thats modeled after New York Citys failed and likely unconstitutional program.
The main issues I discussed were what we have to do to have the Justice Department and the FBI be more leaning-forward when it comes to investigating Islamic terrorism, King told reporters in the lobby of Trump Tower in Manhattan after meeting with the president-elect on Thursday.
I suggested a program similar to what Commissioner Kelly did here in New York, King said, referring to former New York City Police Department Commissioner Ray Kelly, and that we cant worry about political correctness.
For over half a decade after the 9/11 terror attacks, Kelly oversaw a surveillance program that targeted New York and New Jersey Muslims because of their faith.

Trump names Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, ex-Fox New analyst Monica Crowley to national security posts
Source: Washington Post
Retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg and Monica Crowley, a frequent commentator on Fox News, have been named to join President-elect Donald Trumps White House, according to the presidential transition office.
Kellogg was named chief of staff and executive secretary of the National Security Council, and Crowley will serve as the councils senior director of strategic communications. Both will report to Trumps national security adviser, retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn.
The United States is an exceptional country and these are two exceptional individuals who have agreed to fulfill the President-elects pledge of putting America first once again, Flynn said in a statement. I am honored to have General Kellogg and Dr. Crowley on the National Security Council team.
Crowley worked for former president Richard Nixon from 1990 until 1994 and later wrote several books about him. She has been a columnist in a number of newspapers and an analyst on Fox News. She is also the host of a syndicated radio show.

Conway, auditioning to be a pundit after her job is over, slams Ernst for auditioning to be a pundit
Kellyanne Conway calls the White House's comments 'incredibly disappointing.' Josh Earnest knocks Trump for joking about an 'extraordinarily serious matter.'

Earnest ramped up his rhetoric on Thursday, vigorously defending his earlier comments as fact and more forcefully asserting that Trump, indeed, knew of Russias interference.
Mr. Trump obviously knew that Russia was engaged in malicious cyber activity that was helping him and hurting Secretary Clintons campaign, Earnest told reporters.
First of all, it is just a fact you have it all on tape that the Republican nominee for president was encouraging Russia to hack his opponent because he believed that that would help his campaign, he said. Thats not a controversial statement. Im not trying to be argumentative, but I am trying to acknowledge a basic fact. And all of you saw it. This is not in dispute.
Senior Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway disagreed. She tore into Earnest on Thursday morning, surmising that the outgoing press secretary was auditioning to be a political pundit after his job is over soon.

Comey, who influenced the election, "reportedly" told Trump Russians didn't influence the election
It's all over Facebook...Hannity posted it with "If accurate, it's a powerful blow to the current left-wing narrative..."
"If accurate?"
I haven't seen this on "reputable" sites yet and as such I'm not posting any links, or content. So far it's all coming from "unnamed sources" who are claiming to be privy to a private conversation between Comey and Trump. Suffice it to say that the Trump Media Services are spreading this "if accurate" item for public consumption.
Peter King: Are ROGUE CIA persons behind a desk somewhere using this against the president-elect???
Theyre creating this uncertainty over the election. This is several days before the Electoral College, King said.
Though he remained unconvinced Russia was behind the hack, King supports a congressional probe into the hacking of the Democratic National Committee and the attempted hacking of the Republican National Committee.
The controversial congressman questioned whether rogue intelligence operators were sources for articles published this month by The Washington Post and The New York Times on the hacking, which pointed to Russia and even Vladimir Putin himself as playing a key role in the cyber intrusions,
To suddenly have it appear in The Washington Post and The New York Times that the intelligence community ... has concluded this. Who? Who in the CIA? Is it [CIA Director] John Brennan? Is it some rogue person behind a desk somewhere? King asked. People in the intelligence community are using this against the president-elect of the United States, and that is disgraceful.
