Now that Adam Schiff is starting to blame President Obama for Russian meddling in the election, he is probably doing so as yet another excuse that the Democrats, lead by their fearless leader, Crooked Hillary Clinton, lost the 2016 election. But wasn’t I a great candidate?

If it was the GOAL of Russia to create discord, disruption and chaos within the U.S. then, with all of the Committee Hearings, Investigations and Party hatred, they have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams. They are laughing their asses off in Moscow. Get smart America!

You can leave your MAGA hat on...Trump lovers looking for love now have a Website for that.

http://bipartisanreports.com/2018/02/17/dating-site-for-trump-supporters-launches-it-couldnt-be-more-pathetic/

Unfortunately for the Trump supporters who may think this is their one shot at love, it doesn’t seem to be that way. After a cursory look through the site after creating a profile, Bipartisan Report was unfortunately unable to find any real dating prospects. Despite such promising and not-at-all-racist names as “whitebecky,” “aryanjill,” and “daddytrumpish,” few of the profiles reviewed seem to be real people. More likely, they’re catfish accounts designed to simulate female activity on a site which is almost certainly dominated by 90 percent men.

It’s a tried-and-true recipe for capitalizing off a relatively dumb captive audience in the already-crowding dating website industry. When the reality is that most dating websites have too many men and not enough women, it doesn’t seem like making one that caters specifically to Trump supporters, a largely male demographic, would be effective.

For example, this profile, daddytrumpish, appears to be using a photo of Canadian actress

Anecdotally, many of the other profiles reviewed by Bipartisan Report also appeared to make use of photos lifted from the web. Like complete amateurs, the photo thieves didn’t even reverse the images and slap a filter over them, so they’re easily searchable on Google (always reverse image search photos on dating sites, people. Always.).

Not all of the profiles were fake. The most aggressively racist ones generally seemed to be real. Or, at least, weren’t using easily-found stolen photos.

Ryan told her he "didn't want to talk politics" or argue. Yet, she persisted.

https://www.rawstory.com/2018/02/youre-celebrating-death-17-children-gun-reform-protesters-booted-paul-ryan-florida-fundraiser/

“Maria Thorne, a Key Biscayne activist, said she noticed motorcade traffic clogging up her commute home from her job as a fifth grade teacher at iPrep Academy,” the Miami Herald reported, “where she spent the day reassuring scared students that she could keep them safe from a shooter.”

After Thorne heard a rumor that the motorcade belonged to Ryan, she and a friend decided to attend the local event. The Herald confirmed that the National Republican Congressional Committee lists a 2018 Winter Meeting on their website, and the Speaker’s representative confirmed his attendance.

Thorne said she found Ryan in the middle of the room — “I shook his hand and everything,” she said — and introduced herself as a teacher and Key Biscayner.

“Nice,” the Republican congressman replied.

“Nice?” Thorne said. “You’re here celebrating the death of 17 children.”

At that, Thorne said, Ryan told her he “didn’t want to talk politics” or argue. When Thorne tried to continue, security escorted her out. She chanted “No more guns!” on her way out the door, she said.

The Who to release 2-CD "Live at the Fillmore East 1968" on April 20th

An oft-bootleg concert by the Who will soon gets its first official release. Live at the Fillmore East 1968, which documents the last show of a two-night stand at the New York venue, arrives on April 20.

The two-disc, three-LP set, whose track listing is below, focuses largely on material from their two previous records, The Who Sell Out and A Quick One. But there are also three Eddie Cochran covers -- "Summertime Blues," "C'mon Everybody" and "My Way" -- takes on Benny Spellman's Allen Toussaint-penned "Fortune Teller" and Johnny Kidd and the Pirates' "Shakin' All Over," and a lengthy version of "My Generation."

The band's manager, Kit Lambert, had recorded the shows in the hopes of putting out a live album as a stopgap while the band worked on Tommy. Instead, they put their new single, "Magic Bus," with some older tracks and delivered Magic Bus: The Who on Tour. The Fillmore tapes were mixed by longtime Who live soundman Bob Pridden for this release.

Bill Graham had only opened the East Village club a month earlier. Although it was only open for three years -- Graham closed it in 1971 due to changes in the music industry -- its place in rock history was secured due to the number of famous live albums that were recorded in that time, including works by the Allman Brothers Band, Jimi Hendrix and Frank Zappa.

The Who, 'Live at the Fillmore East 1968' Track Listing

LP 1
1. "Summertime Blues"
2. "Fortune Teller"
3. "Tattoo"

The president's new Twitter banner is a photo of him smiling and giving a thumbs up while meeting tonight with police officers who responded to the massacre of 17 people, most of them students, at a high school in Parkland

Tweeters accused Trump of being “tone deaf” and lacking empathy and compassion.

ONION: "Visibly panicked" Mike Pence wakes up in the same bed as his wife

WASHINGTON—Experiencing a rising sense of dread as he opened his eyes Friday morning and noticed the woman asleep beside him, a groggy and confused Vice President Mike Pence reportedly muttered, “Oh God, what happened last night?” upon waking up in the same bed as his wife. “This is Karen’s bed—what have I done?” said a visibly panicked Pence, his fear increasing as he discovered that he was completely naked except for his underwear and pajama pants, while second lady Karen Pence wore no socks or nightcap, her feet and head completely nude. “We didn’t, did we? I mean, I don’t think we did, but I’m not a hundred percent sure. Oh, no, no, no. C’mon, Mike, what’s gotten into you? How could you be so reckless? What on earth were you thinking having that second glass of milk last night? You idiot! You better just hope you didn’t do anything you’ll regret.” At press time, sources reported the vice president was praying that no one would see him as he quietly snuck out of his wife’s bedroom and stumbled back to his own quarters, where he immediately showered in a futile attempt to wash away his shame.

It was a "scheduling issue!" It was "easier" for Melania to be driven, rather than ride on Marine 1.

Melania Trump arrives solo to air base amid second affair scandal as first couple heads to Florida

(CNN)First lady Melania Trump eschewed the traditional South Lawn couple's walk to Marine One on Friday amid another adultery allegation scandal, opting instead to drive separately ahead of President Donald Trump.

"With her schedule it was easier to meet him on the plane," Stephanie Grisham, the first lady's communications director, said in a statement.

Melania Trump does plan to accompany her husband when he visits with victims of the mass shooting in Parkland, Florida, a White House official told CNN.

David Corn: Mueller's Latest Indictment Shows Trump Has Helped Putin Cover Up a Crime

Mueller’s Latest Indictment Shows Trump Has Helped Putin Cover Up a Crime
By continuing to cast doubt on Russian involvement, the president is helping the Kremlin get away with its election attack.

David Corn Feb. 16, 2018 4:15 PM

https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2018/02/muellers-latest-indictment-shows-trump-has-helped-putin-cover-up-a-crime/

People forgot. Special counsel Robert Mueller was not only focused on investigating interactions between Trump world and the Russians; he was tasked with digging into Vladimir Putin’s attack on the 2016 election. And on Friday afternoon, he announced the indictment of 13 Russian nationals for interfering with the presidential campaign. The indictment focused on the Internet Research Agency, a Kremlin-linked outfit based in St. Petersburg, where hundreds of trolls were paid to disseminate false information and propaganda on American social media to influence the election. The document noted that IRA trolls “posted derogatory information about a number of candidates” and its “operations included supporting the presidential campaign of then-candidate Donald J. Trump…and disparaging Clinton.”

Here is yet more proof, not that any was needed, that Russia meddled in the election to benefit Trump—and that Trump’s continued denial or downplaying of Putin’s intervention is nothing but bunk. The indictment is a reminder that Trump won a tainted election, in which he was assisted by Russian skullduggery—and that he has refused to come to terms with that.

This indictment only covers one part of the information warfare unleashed by Russia against American democracy two years ago. Roughly speaking, Moscow’s attack had three components: the social media assault, the hack-and-dump operation targeting Democrats, and the penetration of state voting systems. Each had the potential to undermine the election and cause discord or even chaos. The social media attack went largely unnoticed during the campaign, as Russian trolls and bots infiltrated Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms to spread and amplify messages designed to fuel political divisions within the United States and, in many instances, to boost Trump. They bought ads on Facebook that assailed Clinton. They set up fake Facebook pages that organized and promoted real-life pro-Trump or anti-Clinton rallies in the United States. Facebook and Twitter only grudgingly acknowledged last year that they had been exploited by Russia’s cyber operatives, whose work complemented the social media efforts of the Trump campaign. And the Internet Research Agency, the target of Mueller’s indictment, was a center of this clandestine online activity.

The other two cyber battlefronts were recognized during the campaign. Hackers associated with Russian intelligence agencies swiped emails and documents from Democrats—most notably, the Democratic National Committee, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and John Podesta, the CEO of Hillary Clinton’s campaign—and the material was released via WikiLeaks and other websites. This operation, the US intelligence community concluded, was mounted by Moscow and designed to foment disorder and to help Trump. At the same time, Russia-connected hackers in the summer of 2016 probed the election systems of many states, in limited cases swiping data. This action was detected, and US officials became concerned that Moscow might try to screw with the voting or tallying process on Election Day. The concern was not so much that Russia would alter results to help Trump or any other favored candidate but that Putin’s spooks would cause problems—say, messing with voter registration data bases—that would prompt questions about the accuracy of the vote count and trigger political upheaval no matter which candidate won. This was deemed such a serious worry that President Barack Obama directly told Putin to knock it off.
