"Mr. Manchin?" "Guilty."

Thanks for doing the right thing and not becoming "Trump's Democrat."

VERY happy about this.

McConnell: Three years of dangerous opposition to Trump because he produced unpopular results

I have the sound off but closed captioning on.

Three years of dangerous opposition to Trump because Democrats didn't like the results he produced.

Mueller report "debunked" accusations against Trump.

Attacking Schiff.

"They still don't, still don't accept the American voters' last decision."

His adversaries seek to divide us against each other.

NOT ADDRESSING WHAT'S IN THE ARTICLES OF IMPEACHMENT AT ALL.

If you are angry about someone ripping up a piece of paper but not about someone ripping health care away from disabled people and ripping migrant children away from their families, you need to ask yourself why and adjust accordingly. ✌

Nancy Pelosi put her hand out to Trump. He turned his back on her. Quite deliberately. He is the misogynist ass to end all mysogynist asses. Ripping up his speech was a fitting finish. #NancyPelosiROCKS

Last night's Republican aged fratboy "four more years" catcalls, and yeah, Limbaugh...

...I stand with the folks on DU who have said cancer sucks, and no one should have to endure it.

I also think that Limbaugh's current health needs to be separated from his legacy, and that legacy is not deserving of one of the highest civilian honors in our country. The award should not be a presidential consolation prize for becoming ill.

the only "surprise" last night was that Trump didn't go off script, and he was probably placated by the inclusion of digs at Obama and the words "radical left" in his prepared remarks. He was basically seething from the moment he walked in, played exclusively to one side of the room, pulled his "not gonna shake your hand" stunt, and at the END of the event, as he basked in the warm glow of Republican adulation, Speaker Pelosi made one of the most powerful, wordless statements in the history of his "presidency."

You can take the SOTU last night and view it as a precursor for Trump's re-election campaign, and add nicknames, bullying, insults, lies, braying and bleating and Celebrity Apprentice theatrics.

It's gonna be trench warfare, folks.

"We will always protect your Medicare, and we will always protect your Social Security."

Trump recently suggested that cuts to entitlements will be on the table in his second term, though he tried to walk that back. And Trump’s previous budgets have already pushed for cuts to the programs.

This organization supports trophy hunting, which Both Al and I are emphatically opposed to. There’s nothing we can do personally to stop the show, so please join us in signing the petition at https://www.change.org/p/beach-boys-stop-supporting-trophy-hunting

More Murkowski: Trump's name "is on ballots that have already been cast"

As Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) laid out her long-winded explanation of why she would not vote to convict President Donald Trump in the impeachment trial, she offered this as one of her rationales:

“Removal from office … is the political death penalty. The president’s name is on ballots that have already been cast. The voters will pronounce a verdict in 9 months and we must trust their judgment.”

The problem is that this is false. Nobody has yet voted for Trump on a single ballot. He hasn’t even been officially renominated yet as the GOP candidate for president, and no primary or caucus has yet been called to secure him that nomination.
