Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

The United States will be powerfully supporting those industries, like Airlines and others, that are particularly affected by the Chinese Virus. We will be stronger than ever before!

Well, Trump's had his official "Bin Laden Determined To Strike In U.S., Now Watch This Drive" moment

During a press conference addressing the growing coronavirus outbreak this Monday, President Trump tried to stress to a room full of reporters that the outbreak was so unexpected that no one knew about it a month ago.

“We have an invisible enemy. We have a problem a month ago nobody ever thought about,” Trump said. “It’s just so contagious — sort of record-setting type contagion.”

But as POLITICO’s Dan Diamond points out, it’s now almost two months to the day that Trump was warned about the impending pandemic.

“In presser, Trump says ‘we have a problem that a month ago nobody ever thought about,'” Diamond wrote. “Trump was first briefed about coronavirus threat almost exactly two months ago today.”

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) on Monday reportedly blocked “technical corrections” to a House coronavirus relief bill that was scheduled to be sent to the Senate.

Gohmert told Bloomberg’s Laura Litvan that he didn’t know if his concerns could be resolved in time to vote on the technical corrections on Monday.

"Technical fix" is a dull-sounding name for something that has to happen before the Senate will take up the coronavirus bill. It's a change that Republicans want to see related to virus-related paid leave for employees of small businesses.

Mar-a-Lago forced to shut down for coronavirus 'deep cleaning' after multiple guests test positive

Mar-a-Lago forced to shut down for coronavirus ‘deep cleaning’ after multiple guests test positive

Trump’s beloved Mar-a-Lago resort won’t be open to the public Monday. The nearly one-hundred year-old Florida mansion and members-only club will be shut down for a deep cleaning after several guests of the President later tested positive for the coronavirus. Among them, several members of the Brazilian president’s administration.

“Members were notified via email that the club will be closed Monday for cleaning,” CNN reports.

But after the deep cleaning, details of which were not made public, is complete, it will be business as usual.

“Dinner will be served as usual Tuesday through Saturday,” CNN notes.

Your predictions on Trump, his beloved MAGAt rallies, and the CDC recommentations

"No gatherings over 50 people."

How's Trump gonna handle the sudden withdrawal of love and affection from hordes of MAGAts?

Will be be able to get by on tweets alone?

Will he defy the CDC recommendations and hold his rallies anyway?

Trump's bold leadership during coronavirus crisis continues as he tweets about Hillary's emails

I'm not going to post the tweet here...he basically high-fives a Judicial Watch tweet.

Keep digging that hole, shithead.

Mrs. Betty Bowers nicely sums up Trump's National Day of Coronavirus Prayer stunt.

Mrs. Betty Bowers
@BettyBowers

On this #NationalDayOfPrayer, pray that next time a pandemic strikes, we have a president who is actually competent, and addresses national health emergencies with facts, honesty, and science, not patronizing gimmicks like a "National Day of Prayer."
