Miles Archer's JournalMOTHER TO THE RESCUE! Karen Pence tells Fox that Mike "didn't know masks were required" at Mayo.

It was actually after he left Mayo Clinic that he found out that they had a policy of asking everyone to wear a mask, she said. Someone has worked on this whole task force for over two months is not someone who would have done anything to offend anyone or scare anyone. Im glad that you gave me the opportunity to talk about that.
There's going to be a new season of Reno 911!
The spoof cop-documentary show has been off the air since the sixth season ended in 2009, but starts up again on May 4 on the new streaming service Quibi.
Finally, some good news in the world, Yankovic wrote on Twitter as he posted a picture of himself dressed in stars-and-stripes hat and shirt, and wearing Nugent-style facial hair. After an 11-year hiatus, one of the funniest shows of all time is back! The new season of Reno 911! begins streaming on Quibi on May 4. (Oh, and I show up at one point as Ted Nugent.)

David Corn: "Over 60,000 Americans dead, and Trump, we're told, is..."
@DavidCornDC
Over 60,000 Americans dead, and Trump, were told, is in a lousy mood because he has dropped in recent polls.
This is horrific.

Trump explains why he should be re-elected after losing more Americans than the Vietnam war.
@atrupar
.
@Olivianuzzi : If a POTUS loses more Americans over six weeks than died in the Vietnam War, does he deserve to be reelected?
TRUMP: "If you look at what the original projections were, 2.2 million -- we're probably headed to 60,000, 70,000 ...we've made a lot of good decisions."

OK, I'm lost. Now Ben Carson AND Jared are Co-Czars on Trump's Coronavirus Task Force?
Is Ben the MAN with a PLAN, and is Jared returning to his role in fighting the opioid epidemic and restoring Middle East peace?
Or are they BOTH going to work together to restore America's prosperity to a new level, perhaps bigger than most had previously thought? Because MANY PEOPLE are saying this was a stroke of genius, and you know that better than anyone!
All I know is that with Ben holding the reins, all of us can sleep easier.
BOLD!
191 days until the election, folks.
So Trump apparently understands 2 hour+ Lysol & Bleach MAGAt rallies aren't a "winning strategy."
FIRST, he loses the weekly taxpayer-funded golf trips and his beloved MAGAt rallies.
NOW, it seems like SOMEONE got through to him about what a MASSIVE misfire the Lysol & Bleach clusterfuck was.
And now,
He may stop appearing daily and make shorter appearances when he does, the sources said a practice that may have started with Friday's unusually short briefing.
Nothing left but rage-viewing cable news. Sad. Very, very sad...isn't it?
I'd be really interested in what my Kentucky friends have to say about McConnell right now.
I don't care about polls...none of 'em matter if Kentucky re-elects McConnell. I've read far too many articles where people are quoted as saying "Yeah, we hate him, yeah, he's an asshole, but he's been my senator all my life."
My PERSONAL feeling...without my being a Kentuckian...is that we face a real danger of Kentucky voting for Team Mitch out of fatigue and sheer habit.
That's not intended as an insult to anyone from Kentucky...I get it. It grieves me, but I get it.
It seems pretty clear that a Democratic President and Mitch McConnell in control of the Senate could very well add up to four years of Merrick Garland bills stacking up on the Grim Reaper's desk.
The only "victory," the only turn-around, is going to come via a Democratic President AND a Dem Senate.
So...if you're reading this in Kentucky, what's your take on all of this? What do you think, what do your friends and family and associates think? Is Mitch around to stay, or are you going to give him the boot?
