You heartless bastards! Do you have any idea how hard Glen Beck is taking this news?

He’s trying to save what’s left of his political career.

Ripping the party apart doesn’t help him at all in the long run.

Will he congratulate Trump? I’ll bet “no”. He’s still in love with himself and still thinks he’s the only one.

The money men said ‘time to get out, Ted.’

Good luck on your future. It probably won’t be in politics.

Good riddance to an NWO Trojan Horse and the least honorable political campaign in modern history.

Trump: ‘Even I’ would have helped Carly Fiorina after fall

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/may/3/donald-trump-even-i-would-have-helped-carly-fiorin/

GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump took a shot at 2016 GOP rival Sen. Ted Cruz after Carly Fiorina, Mr. Cruz’s running mate, took a tumble at a recent rally, saying “even” he would have helped Mrs. Fiorina.

“By the way, she fell off the stage the other day, did anybody see that? And Cruz didn’t do anything. Even I would have helped her, OK?” Mr. Trump said at a recent rally in Indiana.

“That’s really cruel,” Mr. Trump said. “She just went down. She went down a long way, right? And she went down right in front of him, and he was talking, he kept talking. He didn’t even look like — that was a weird deal.”

Mr. Trump was referring to an incident that happened Sunday after Mrs. Fiorina was introducing Mr. Cruz and his family at a rally.

The Sarah Palin of 2016: Twitter mercilessly mocks Carly Fiorina after Cruz’s crushing Indiana loss

‘The Sarah Palin of 2016’: Twitter mercilessly mocks Carly Fiorina after Cruz’s crushing Indiana loss

Sen. Ted Cruz vowed that naming former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina as his running mate would be a game-changer. Instead, the game for the Tea Party lawmaker appeared to be over after losing another primary to Donald Trump.

Rolling Stone: What Should We Make of the Hillary Clinton Indictment Speculation?

What Should We Make of the Hillary Clinton Indictment Speculation?

With Clinton poised to secure the nomination, the chatter about the FBI investigation into her email server has grown louder
By Tessa Stuart May 3, 2016

http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/news/what-should-we-make-of-the-hillary-clinton-indictment-speculation-20160503

Hillary Clinton has all but locked up the delegates needed to become the Democratic nominee for president — a fact many on both the right and the left are finding difficult to come to terms with. Perhaps that's why potential disaster scenarios seem to be surfacing with increasing frequency these days. With her rival, Bernie Sanders, all but mathematically eliminated after a string of bruising primary losses, chatter has gotten louder about Clinton potentially being indicted by the FBI over her use a private email server during her tenure at the State Department.

Republican mega-donor T. Boone Pickens insisted to Newsmax last week that Clinton would not be the Democratic nominee. "I don't think she's physically up to it, but that's not going to eliminate her," he said. "It'll be some other reason. I just don't think that she will ever hear the starter's gun." Asked if he believed "emailgate" would disqualify Clinton, Pickens said, "All of it. She has so many things." (Both Pickens and former House Speaker John Boehner have in recent days publicly floated scenarios in which Joe Biden swoops in at the DNC to wrest the nomination from Clinton's grip.)

On the left, Ralph Nader speculated obliquely on CNN that Sanders should remain in the race in case a Clinton scandal erupts, while Cenk Uygur, the host of the online news program The Young Turks and a Sanders supporter, stressed that the possibility of an indictment remains very much alive. "If you've got a dozen people investigating you, odds are they will indict you," Uygur said firmly. He went on to speculate that if FBI Director James Comey, a Republican, "wanted to do maximum damage to the Democrats, you know when he would announce the indictment? The last day of the Democratic convention."

Even Jane Sanders — whose husband once famously said Americans are "sick and tired of hearing about [Clinton's] damn emails" — expressed frustration with the pace of the FBI investigation of those emails. "It would be nice if the FBI moved it along," she told CBS last week.

HISSY FIT! Cruz: "You sound like a broken record. You've already asked a question."

Morning Consult Poll: After Fiorina surprise, 24% of Repubs "less likely" for Cruz, 51% don't care

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/indiana-primary-ted-cruz-donald-trump_us_57289c0be4b0bc9cb0447b4d

CARLY FIORINA DIDN’T HELP TED CRUZ AT ALL - A new national poll from Morning Consult shows that preliminarily announcing Carly Fiorina as his running mate didn’t help Ted Cruz improve his standing. Among the Republicans polled 25 percent say adding Fiorina to the ticket improves their chances of voting for Cruz, but 24 percent say it makes them less likely to vote for Cruz. The majority — 51 percent — don’t care. The apathy toward Cruz also shows in a new NBC News/Survey Monkey national poll, which shows Trump’s lead increasing. The business mogul gained 6 percent in the latest tracking poll, while Cruz lost 4 percent.

Terms of Service

A jury just voted to leave the comments in the thread below.

The Terms of Service state "Do not post bigotry based on someone's race or ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion or lack thereof, disability, or other comparable personal characteristic."

The comment "Another good Christian woman" in a post about a clearly reprehensible human being, followed by "What a miserable person?", is clearly "bigotry based on religion."

And yet, the post stands, and it's still a violation of the ToS, whether the jury signed off on it or not.

I am assuming that the individual elements of "bigotry" as defined in the ToS are equal...a bigoted post about religion is no better than a bigoted post about any of the other elements. And if you read the comments of the people who chose to hide it, they see it.

And Juror #1 completely misses the point.

Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Alerter is off-base. The point of the post is that this woman is NOT displaying the Christian values Jesus emphasized.

There was no reason to bring religion into this post, and I do not get a sense of the OP yearning for the "Christian values Jesus emphasized."

My request is that you handle posts of this nature with the same objectivity and fairness that you treat posts that deal with race, gender, and sexual preference. Thank you.

On Tue May 3, 2016, 06:27 AM you sent an alert on the following post:

Another good Christian woman.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1017&pid=365615

REASON FOR ALERT

This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

YOUR COMMENTS

DU Terms of Service: "No bigoted hate speech.

Do not post bigotry based on someone's race or ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion or lack thereof, disability, or other comparable personal characteristic. " This woman is not identified as a Christian in this video. The subject of religion never comes up for a second. "Another good Christian woman"...what's that mean, exactly, when followed by "What a miserable person?" To me it says that kacekwl is not fond of Christians, and that's their right, but to vent it in this thread, completely unprevoked, is "disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate."

JURY RESULTS

A randomly-selected Jury of DU members completed their review of this alert at Tue May 3, 2016, 06:36 AM, and voted 3-4 to LEAVE IT ALONE.

Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Alerter is off-base. The point of the post is that this woman is NOT displaying the Christian values Jesus emphasized.
Juror #2 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #5 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #6 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Alerter has a point. I grew up when it was really gauche to express anti-antisemitism but nobody thought much about Christian much less Islamic sensibilities but times have changed and we're now in an era where religious sensitivity is essential. Look at France for example. They really just don't get it. Anyway that's the reason I'm voting to hide.
Juror #7 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: As religion is not mentioned, comment is inappropriate.

Thank you.
