LOCK HER UP! Her EMAILS! That's right, kids, we're talking about Betsy DeVos.

Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos used four personal email addresses for work-related business and violated government regulations regarding preservation of those documents. DeVos’ spokesperson then blasted the media for reporting the news, as The Hill reports.

“We found a limited number (less than 100) sent or received between January 20, 2017, and April 10, 2018,” the Education Dept.’s Inspector General charges. “Most messages occurred during the first 6 months of 2017 and were from a single writer who was offering advice on potential candidates for Department positions.

The emails “were not always being properly preserved,” to OIG reported. “We did not identify any instances where the secretary forwarded emails from her personal accounts to her department email accounts,” as she should have.

Meanwhile, Education Dept. spokesperson Liz Hill said, “I understand that ‘DeVos + Personal Email’ gets clicks, and attacked “media coverage of the IG report on personal email is the definition of click bait,” which is false.

Mother Jones: Trump borrowed between $5 million and $25 million from Professional Bank in 2018

President Donald Trump’s latest personal financial disclosure was just released, showing that Trump, who already owed more money than any other president in history, borrowed millions more in 2018.

According to the disclosure, Trump borrowed between $5 million and $25 million from Professional Bank, a small Florida outfit that specializes in construction and real estate loans. He borrowed the money at 4.5 percent interest through a limited liability company called 1125 South Ocean LLC. The loan was used to finance the purchase of 1125 South Ocean Avenue, a mansion located next door to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club and owned by the president’s sister, Maryanne Trump Barry. Last year, Palm Beach-area newspapers reported that Trump’s sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, had purchased Barry’s property for $18.5 million. But Trump’s financial disclosure indicates that in fact he controls the company behind the transaction. Though assets and liabilities are reported in ranges on financial disclosure forms, land records show that the value of Trump’s newest loan $11.2 million.

Donald J. Trump

The Failing New York Times (it will pass away when I leave office in 6 years), and others of the Fake News Media, keep writing phony stories about how I didn’t use many banks because they didn’t want to do business with me. WRONG! It is because I didn’t need money. Very old

Fox News audience erupts in applause after Pete Buttigieg issues perfect 3-word response to Trump’s ‘grotesque’ Twitter attacks

“Let’s talk less about policies than dynamic of running again Donald Trump,” Wallace began. “As we see in 2016, he is a formidable and unconventional candidate, he is already making fun of your name, and your looks— comparing you to Alfred Newman. How would you deal with him … How would you handle insults and attacks and Tweets and that?”

“Tweets are — I don’t care,” Buttigieg replied as the audience roared.

“That gets a lot of applause,” Wallace observed.

“It is an effective way to command the attention of media,” Buttigieg continued. “We need to change the channel from the show he created. I get it, it is mesmerizing. It is hard to look away. It is the nature of grotesque things you can’t look away.”
