In honor of Rupert Murdoch's non-event, here's the link to that Randy Quaid "tribute" video.

Figured posting the video directly might be a bit risky and I am really not in the mood for a "jury decision" today. Video can be seen by following the link below.

Actor/conspiracy theorist Randy Quaid has resurfaced online, posting a NSFW video in which he appears to simulate sex with his wife while she wears a Rupert Murdoch mask.

Quaid, who has grown a shaggy beard, rails against Murdoch and a Warner Brothers executive who he claims stole his house.

Note: The video below contains explicit content that may not be appropriate for all audiences.

"Warner Brothers even had my wife and I falsely arrested six times by TMZ," Quaid says. "No, for real. That's really how it works -- #PMC, Police-Media-Corruption. BOOM."

Ornette Coleman, Jazz Innovator, Dies at 85

Ornette Coleman, Jazz Innovator, Dies at 85

Ornette Coleman, the alto saxophonist and composer who was one of the most powerful and contentious innovators in the history of jazz, died on Thursday morning in Manhattan. He was 85.

The cause was cardiac arrest, a representative of the family said.

Mr. Coleman widened the options in jazz and helped change its course. Partly through his example in the late 1950s and early ’60s, jazz became less beholden to the rules of harmony and rhythm, and gained more distance from the American songbook repertoire. His own music, then and later, became a new form of highly informed folk song: deceptively simple melodies for small groups with an intuitive, collective language, and a strategy for playing without preconceived chord sequences.

Though his early work— a kind of personal answer to his fellow alto saxophonist and innovator Charlie Parker— lay right within jazz — and generated a handful of standards among jazz musicians of the last half-century — he later challenged assumptions about jazz from top to bottom, bringing in his own ideas about instrumentation, process and technical expertise.

Man Charged with Battery After Throwing Slice of Hot Pizza at Roommate

Man Charged with Battery After Throwing Slice of Hot Pizza at Roommate

Daniel Plunkett, a 50-year-old resident of Florida, was arrested and charged with battery after throwing a slice of hot pizza at his roommate, 56-year-old Brenda Fiejdasz.

After “an argument about pizza,” according to the police report, “the defendant allegedly threw a piece of pizza at the victim, striking her in the left hand… The victim had pizza sauce on her right shoulder and cleaned up prior to arrival.”

Plunkett, who is already on felony probation for an unrelated incident — drunk driving and driving with a suspended license — “denied throwing the pizza on the victim” and told police that it was Fiejdasz who threw the pizza on him. The report continues, “[the] defendant was not wearing a shirt and had pizza sauce on his chest and shorts.”

Fiejdasz was not injured in the incident, but she and a witness who was also in the home at the time told police that they were scared of Plunkett.

The world's foulest-tasting pizza cannot be improved with a... *ahem* ... "HOT DOG CRUST."

Pizza Hut confirms hot dog-stuffed crust pizza is coming to America
8 hours ago
Claire Lower

The rumors are true! We now have official confirmation that Pizza Hut is bringing hot dog-stuffed crust pizza to the great U.S. of A.

It's about time. After many years of gazing longingly across the pond while citizens of the United Kingdom enjoyed this decidedly American-inspired delicacy, we will finally have our chance to taste this unholy union of two culinary powerhouses.

So what took so long? Pizza Hut just wanted to make sure that the dish was fit for American customers. According to a company spokesperson, "We wanted to do it in a way that was true to the way that an American would interact with two of their favorite foods. We haven't done it this way anywhere else around the world and we think we really nailed it. Especially with the mustard on the side (instead of a mustard drizzle)."

The mustard isn't the only thing they changed. Unlike its predecessors, which were surrounded by one continuous, hot dog-filled crust, the American version will be surrounded by 28 individual hot dog bites, making this a truly customizable experience.

A single topping Hot Dog Bites Pizza will be available at all U.S. Pizza Hut locations beginning on June 18 for $11.99.

Neil Young Previews New "The Monsanto Years" Album With 'Wolf Moon' Video

Neil Young and Promise of the Real are less than three weeks away from releasing their album The Monsanto Years, and on Wednesday, they unveiled a video for new track "Wolf Moon." It's one of the gentler songs from their collection of protest songs against the agrochemical company Monsanto. According to the Farmer's Almanac, the Wolf Moon is the name of the full moon that rises in January, while the Harvest Moon comes in September.

The video was shot at the historic Teatro Theater in Oxnard, California, the same spot where Young and Promise of the Real - led by Willie Nelson's sons Lukas and Micah - cut The Monsanto Years earlier this year. "I don't really have anything against the human beings working at Monsanto," Young told Rolling Stone. "But Monsanto is the poster child for the problems we're having with the corporate government."

Young and Promise of the Real are hitting the road for a North American amphitheater tour in early July, and they've warmed up by playing surprise bar shows in Maui, Hawaii and San Luis Obispo, California. The shows centered around material from The Monsanto Years, but they also featured Young classics like "Country Home," "Down By The River," "Goin' Back" and "Walk On." The group has rehearsed a ton of other tunes for the tour, including extreme rarities like "Vampire Blues" and "Expecting To Fly."

"My favorite thing is when he hits what I call the 'cosmic hurricane black hole tornado button,'" Micah Nelson told Rolling Stone. "He hits this button on the Whizzer and it's like suddenly just a bajillion tons of cosmic sludge are hurled into a wormhole and they're blasting out of his amp into my back. It's pretty much the most dreamy, surreal shit ever."

Metal guitarist / horror author Jeremy Wagner donates entire Illinois farm to no-kill animal rescue

Recently, founding member and guitarist for heavy metal band Broken Hope, Jeremy Wagner, announced he donated his entire rural Illinois farm--the buildings and land--to an animal rescue and rehabilitation organization. The noted fiction horror writer and metal musician stated on his Facebook fan page:

Today I made the biggest donation of my life. I signed off and gave away my entire farm to the animal rescue/rehab group I've been working with since I purchased the property last summer. I'm too busy to manage and enjoy the place, but it does my heart & soul good knowing I have now given a refuge and paradise for many animals who will be given help and love and new homes for many years to come. My generosity and goodwill for the benefit of animals will never stop. Giving my farm away for free was a super-huge sacrifice, but it was an awesome one, and it won't be the last time I do it. In this life, money doesn't mean shit if you don't do good with it. So I do as much good as I can before I leave this rock. Cheers!

Wagner’s generosity was celebrated by fellow Metal maniac and animal advocate Donald Tardy (drummer of Metal band Obituary), via Obituary’s Facebook page:

Our good friend Mr. Jeremy Wagner of Broken Hope did something yesterday that deserves recognition and praise. He donated his entire farm and land to an animal rescue group… As animal lovers ourselves we found this to be one of the kindest and coolest things someone in the Metal music world has ever done for a great cause. Jeremy is one of just a few people that helps us out by donating to the Metal Meowlisha and our efforts. For that, I say thank You Mr. Wagner for being an amazing person and such a good friend. You rule Brother!

CA company files charges against man for using his t-shirt to swat their $1350 drone to the ground

There is also a video at the URL below.

A California drone company has filed a police report against a Huntington Beach man after he used his T-shirt to swat a $1,350 drone to the ground.

Video shot by Mike Luzanksy, who owns Lucky 7 Drones, shows the DJI Phantom 3 drone hovering a few feet in the air in the middle of a street when a shirtless man appears.

The man tells Luzanksy not to fly the drone near his house and proceeds to smack it from the sky with his shirt, sending it crashing to the ground.

Luzanksy said if the man doesn't pay for the damaged drone, he'll sue in small claims court.

Woman says she owns the sun, sues eBay for not letting her sell it

A Spanish woman claiming ownership of the sun was given the right to take eBay to court over the company’s refusal to allow her to sell land on it.

Maria Angeles Duran, who, according to the International Business Times, claimed ownership of the sun in 2010, was allowed by the magistrate’s court in Madrid to take the case to trial. Duran intended to sell plots of land on the star for a little more than $1 USD per meter square.

Spanish newspaper La Voz de Galacia said the trial will happen in mid-July.

“There was no snag, I backed my claim legally, I am not stupid, I know the law,” she told the Daily Mail in 2010. “I did it but anyone else could have done it, it simply occurred to me first.” She said since 2013, she received 600 orders from her eBay sales page, which was later pulled by the company.

Tim Curry makes rare public appearance after suffering stroke as he accepts Lifetime Achievement Award at Tony Awards party

Nearly three years ago actor Tim Curry suffered a stroke that continues to affect his speech.

But despite the health woes, the 69-year-old was in good spirits as he was honored with The Actors Fund Lifetime Achievement Award on Sunday at the Tony Awards Viewing Party in Los Angeles.

Speaking to Los Angeles magazine, he said that he has been 'doing well' and was 'looking forward' to receiving the honor.

And it is the Legend star's sense of humor that has helped helped him to remain optimistic since his July 2012 stroke when he collapsed at his Los Angeles home.
