"Pastor prays with Trump at First Christian Church in Iowa last January." We need a better caption.

Here's a look at the fundraising email Trump sent out. It's like a 70s Ron Popeil infomercial.
http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slatest/2016/06/21/donald_trump_sends_first_fundraising_email_because_his_campaign_s_broke.html
Yesterday, the world learned the Donald Trump campaign is running for president on fumes. Whether you chalk it up to inexperience, inattention, or self-sabotage, the Trump campaign was alarmingly close to having zero dollars at the end of May, according to the campaign FEC filing. To make matters worse, Team Trump hadnt bothered to raise much either. So Trump did what any good politician would do (and probably would have done sooner): He started asking people for money.
On Tuesday, the Trump campaign sent, what its describing as its first fundraising email. As such, the subject line reads: The first one. That's right. The FIRST ONE, the email goes on to enthuse. Boom. Trumps in it to win it and hes going to be ponying up some cash too. I'm going to help make it the most successful introductory fundraising email in modern political history by personally matching every dollar that comes in WITHIN THE NEXT 48 HOURS *
* up to $2 million!

And in the spirit of context for our younger DUers, this was an actual Ron Popeil product, one that Trump might find useful:

The "return to electric after 20 years" Ritchie Blackmore looks ill, bored, or both.
For whatever reason, his heart's not in it. His new "Rainbow" band is nothing to write home about. He said that he might consider doing more shows if he enjoyed it and the audience did too. They look happy to see him but he looks like he'd rather be somewhere else.

Steve King (R-IA) Proposes Legislation to Block Harriet Tubman From Being on $20 Bill
Iowa Congressman Proposes Legislation to Block Harriet Tubman From Being on $20 Bill
Republican Rep. Steve King introduced an amendment to bar the Treasury Department from spending any funds to redesign paper money or coin currency.
If the amendment is enacted, it would nullify the Treasury Departments plans to replace the current image of Jackson on the $20 bill with a portrait of Tubman, one of the most prominent abolitionists for her work in the Underground Railroad during the Civil War. She would become the first black woman ever to appear on a U.S. banknote.
Kings reason for introducing the amendment was not immediately clear, and his office did not immediately respond to a CNN request for comment.
According to The Huffington Post, which first reported the story, the Iowa Republican is hoping to attach his legislation to another bill that will authorize the Treasury Departments funding.

Trump May 2016 expenditures: $208K, "Make America Great" hats. $48K, data mgmt. $115K, online ads.
Trumps campaign spent more money on Make America Great Again hats than on web advertising.
Yes, seriously: Trumps campaign bought up $208,000 worth of hats in May, while spending just $48,000 on data management and $115,000 on online advertising.

Conservative radio host Wayne Dupree: "Trunk continues to defy the odds"
http://newsninja2012.com/hillary-clinton-has-spent-23m-in-battleground-states-to-trumps-0-and-im-not-worried/
Back in the day at might be worried watching or hearing the news about how the Democratic candidate was outspending the Republican candidate in the battleground states. Donald Trump, The GOP presumptive nominee, do things his way in the Republican primary by basically spending less again 16 other candidates but traveling more to reach out to grassroots patriotic Americans and talk to them heart-to-heart.
I wont question Trump because his model has already got him where he is. Trunk continues to defy the odds even with the media turning everything he does into a negative spin.
Trump cant even go down the street to get a bagel before the New York Times the Washington Post turns that into a negative headline. Sooner or later he will have to spend some money however, and Im sure he knows that already. Wouldnt it be nice to watch the Democrats spent all that money and came up short before the general election?

Could a 350-year-old composition bring an end to the Stairway to Heaven plagiarism trial?
Attorneys for Jimmy Page and Robert Plant have argued that the distinctive opening guitar passage of Stairway to Heaven uses a common progression that has been around for hundreds of years.
In fact, a composition by Italian composer Giovanni Battista Granata uses this same progressionand nearly the same melody heard in Stairway to Heaven. The work, Sonata di Chittarra, e Violino, con il suo Basso Continuo, was composed in 1659.
The passage, which occurs at the 0:32 mark in the video below, is strikingly similar to the Stairway to Heaven intro and has more in common with it than Taurus, the 1968 instrumental composition by the group Spirit that Page and Plant are accused of plagiarizing.
350 yr old “Sonata di Chittarra, e Violino, con il suo Basso Continuo” sounds a lot like "Stairway"
