Owner of Caddy Restaurant in Virginia thinks some people "are scared of be called a racist"

https://www.rawstory.com/2018/06/virginia-restaurant-owner-posts-racist-rant-telling-maxine-waters-shut-big-fat-lips-go-back-africa/

Maxie had previously posted that she was “proud” to be white and that she should not be called a racist for saying so.

“‘I’m proud to be white’ I bet no one passes this on because they are scared of be [sic] called a racist,” she once wrote.

When originally confronted about the racist post targeting Waters, Maxie defended herself on the grounds of “free speech.”

“Sorry. If everybody else can speak what they think, I can too. It is a country that we have freedom of speech and I use [mine] quite often.”

U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Wednesday said President Donald Trump’s eventual nomination to replace retiring Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy will be debated by the full Senate this fall.

“We’ll be addressing the nominee on the floor of the Senate this fall,” McConnell told reporters. Asked whether it would be proper for the Senate to decide on a justice before November’s congressional elections, McConnell responded, “There’s no presidential election this year.”

Chris Hayes: "Kennedy handing his seat over to Trump is the most perfect example *ever* about...

...how it is all the party of Trump. All of it. Kennedy looks down from SCOTUS and sees the man in the White House and says “Yes. Him. I want him to be the one to choose my replacement.”
