I don't want to post his now-deleted tweet here, but suffice it to say that he fired up the racist conspiracy base, and they were quick on the uptake. After he deleted the tweet, the minions stepped up and carried it for him.
I know many, perhaps most, of the folks on DU are prepared for how LOW this election is going to go.
I also know that if Harris makes it into the home stretch, she's equipped to deal with it.
The slimy wheels are turning. In the 2020 election, there will be no "bottom."
And Don Jr gave us an early taste of that.

Rev Al, this morning on MSNBC: Tonight, Biden needs to present himself as the guy who can beat Trump
I'm sifting through the various reactions to last night's debate, and I thought it was brilliant to only refer to Trump in short, condemning bursts (like sitting in his bathrobe, using his little thumbs to tweet out war declarations).
The result was that instead of keeping his promise to "live tweet" the event, he pooh-poohed the microphone glitch and issued an all-caps "BORING!"
And as another DUer posted in this forum, Bette Midler tweeted that he was bored because he's only interested in things he can eat or fuck.
Tonight, however, I agree with Reverend Al...at present, Biden's strongest selling point is that he can beat Trump, and he needs to lean into it. Wherever you may stand on his past record or present performance, all eyes are on Joe for that singular reason first, and all else second.
I thought Elizabeth Warren was spectacular last night. She was laser-focused and fired back direct answers to direct questions without hesitation or side-trips into anecdotes or unrelated issues. I have no doubt in my mind that she could be President, and a great one at that.
Joe already knows what he's going to do tonight. It's going to leave a smoking crater, or not. We'll have to wait and see.
