Miles Archer's JournalTrump tells Boy Scouts he'll fire Tom Price if ObamaCare repeal fails. You heard me...Boy Scouts.
Trump began his remarks to the annual Boy Scout summit in Beaver, West Virginia, by claiming he wouldnt talk about politics, but went off-script several times to comment on the GOP Senate health care bill and to chastise the fake news media for coverage of his administration. He also recounted his election victory over Hillary Clinton, again boasting that most pundits didnt predict his win.
The speech quickly turned political after Trump introduced several members of his Cabinet who are former scouts, including Price.
By the way, youre going to get the votes? he asked Price. He better get em. He better get em. Ah, he better otherwise, Ill say, Tom, youre fired!

Trump claims, among other things, that ObamaCare has been in place for 17 years
We as a party must fulfill that solemn promise to the voters of this country to repeal and replace, Trump said at the White House, standing in front of three families supporting repeal efforts who were invited to appear during the televised remarks. But so far, Senate Republicans have not done their job in ending the Obamacare nightmare.
At one point, Trump falsely claimed his predecessors health care law had been in place for 17 years.
Obamacare has broken our health care system, he added. Its broken. Its collapsing, its gone, and now it is up to us to get great health care for the American people.

Republicans in House push for Congressional Budget Office cuts
Source: Reuters
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Conservative Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives are seeking to add an amendment this week to spending legislation that would slash the number of staff at the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office.
The budget research office, known as the CBO, has drawn recent Republican criticism, including from the White House, after it concluded that Republican proposals to replace Obamacare would lead to 23 million more Americans being uninsured if they became law.
Representative Mark Meadows, head of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, said on Monday his colleague Morgan Griffith has offered an amendment to an appropriations bill the House is expected to take up this week that would cut the CBO's staff of 235 by 89 employees, saving about $15 million.
"They ought to be aggregators," Meadows said of the CBO at a National Press Club lunch. "There's plenty of think tanks that are out there. We ought to take a score from Heritage, from AEI (American Enterprise Institute), from Brookings, from the Urban Institute and bring them together for a composite score."

MSNBC's Chris Jansing really, REALLY PISSED OFF that Democrats DARED to speak during Jared's speech.

Minutes after Kushner held a closed door meeting with the Senate Intelligence Committee on Monday, the top Trump adviser made an unexpected appearance outside the White House to say that he had not colluded with Russia during the 2016 campaign.
At the same time, Democrats were unveiling their Better Deal jobs agenda, which seemed to annoy Jansing.
Im out of time but I have to ask you, what do you make of Democrats while they know this is happening they say that they have this big message that they need to get out there on the economy, the MSNBC host told two guests. And theyre doing it at the same time they know that Jared Kushner is going to be walking to the microphone.
Democrats have to continue to work for the American people, former National Security Council spokesperson Ned Price replied. They cant put their agenda on hold just because this administration is enmeshed in this Russia mess.
Although maybe they could have done it for an hour or two and gotten a little more airtime, Jansing shrugged before moving onto her next segment, which was purportedly about the Democratic plan but featured only 30 seconds of audio from the event.
Kushner claims "Guccifer400" demanded bitcoins in exchange for not publishing Trump's tax returns
The presidents son-in-law and White House senior adviser released an 11-page statement Monday morning ahead of his closed-door hearing with the Senate Intelligence Committee detailing his contacts with Russian officials during the campaign and transition.
Kushner denied colluding with Russian officials, but he disclosed one contact with a possible Russian hacker threatening to blackmail Trump over his unreleased tax returns.
There was one more possible contact that I will note, Kushner said. On October 30, 2016, I received a random email from the screenname Guccifer400. This email, which I interpreted as a hoax, was an extortion attempt and threatened to reveal candidate Trumps tax returns and demanded that we send him 52 bitcoins in exchange for not publishing that information.
Kushner said he brought the email to the attention of a U.S. Secret Service agent, who told him to ignore the message and not reply, and he said he never heard from the sender again.

Trump frequently interrupts conversations about other topics to complain bitterly about Russia probe
http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory/trump-intensifies-criticism-attorney-general-48817925
The men used to be close: Sessions first appeared with Trump at a rally in the then-senator's home state of Alabama in August 2015, an event that drew a massive crowd and was, for many members of Trump's inner circle, one of the first signs that their candidate was catching on.
Sessions then became the first U.S. senator to endorse Trump and a frequent campaign adviser. When Trump was elected, Sessions was given a pick of prime Cabinet spots and expressed interest in being attorney general, giving up a safe Senate seat and decades of seniority.
The broadside against Sessions in the interview was not a calculated ploy to force the attorney general to resign but rather Trump's frustration with his longtime ally bubbling to the surface, according to the advisers who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss private conversations. Several people close to Trump including his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr, who has also been ensnared in the Russia probe have also told the president that they believe Sessions' decision to recuse himself was a mistake.
That has only fueled Trump's obsession with the probe, which has dogged his White House since Inauguration Day. Despite his protests to the contrary, Trump continues to watch and obsess over cable news coverage and he frequently interrupts conversations about other topics to complain bitterly about the probe or, on occasion, predict that it'll soon be behind him.

I miss my patriotic dad desperately but I'm glad he isn't here to see what has happened to his America. He would die all over again. 😢
