Isn't it time for a NEW fictitious 9-year old with a vegetable nickname to write to Trump?

"Dear President Trump,

My name is Jimmy, and I am nine years old, and everybody calls me "Rutabaga."

I love you so much that my mommy, is writing this down, because my hands are shaking so much out of love.

Than you for pardoning Sheriff Joe. My mommy told me that prisoners are lucky to get a free baloney sandwich every day.

And if it is too hot in a tent they should only rob banks in Alaska.

My mommy also said you can only be president for eight years. I hope you change the laws so that you can be president until I am 60 years old!

Some people say you play golf too much. My mommy tells me that if I want to become great at something I have to practice, practice, practice! People who don't want you to be great at golf probably don't love America.

I love you President Trump. You are the best! I have two turtles and I named them Don Jr. and Eric. I wanted a pet rat, and I was going to call her Ivanka, but my mom said no. But she hasn't said no to Barron the goldfish!

I think you have another child too but I have forgotten her name. I bet that happens to you a lot!

That's all I have to say except I love you and please be president forever!

Love,

Rutabaga"

Trump assists Houston by re-tweeting attacks on Obama and Antifa, then quotes Mother Teresa.

First, he re-tweeted these "Right Wing Talking Points" from Dinesh D'Souza and Katie Pavlich (which I am not going to post here, because I'm not going to have my thread locked for "posting Right Wing Talking Points." Suffice it to say that Pavlich attacked Obama and D'Souza attacked Antifa.

...then he re-tweeted this:

MTV censors "F*ck Donald Trump" song with commercial break at 2017 VMAs

MTV censors ‘F*ck Donald Trump’ song with commercial break at 2017 VMAs

http://www.rawstory.com/2017/08/revealed-mtv-played-fck-donald-trump-song-during-commercial-break-at-2017-vmas/

The 2017 VMAs brought several controversial comments against President Donald Trump as well as Katy Perry’s support for Hillary Clinton, and Paris Jackson’s passionate plea to fight back against white supremacists. But when it came to the performance of a popular anti-Trump song released in 2016, no one saw it.

While the night may have began with Kendrick Lamar’s fiery anti-police rap intermixing racist Fox News commentary, when it came to the performance of YG & Nipsey Hussle song “FDT (F*ck Donald Trump)” the network took a commercial break.

The Hollywood Reporter‘s Scott Feinberg tweeted the performance taking place during the break. Presumably, MTV wasn’t interested in trying to deal with the many many words that would have to be censored to comply with FCC guidelines. However, MYV was also criticized by viewers on Twitter during the performance for cutting to commercial in the middle of performances.

Over 2 million barrels per day (out of 5.6) of Texas oil refining capacity now offline due to Harvey

LONDON (Reuters) - Oil markets were roiled on Monday after Tropical Storm Harvey wreaked havoc along the U.S. Gulf Coast over the weekend, crippling Houston and its port, and knocking out several refineries as well as some crude production.

U.S. gasoline prices hit two-year highs as massive floods caused by the storm forced refineries in the area to close. In turn, U.S. crude futures fell as the refinery shutdowns could reduce demand for American crude.

Texas is home to 5.6 million barrels per day (bpd) of refining capacity, and Louisiana has 3.3 million bpd. Over 2 million bpd of refining capacity was estimated to be offline as a result of the storm.
