Eventually therell be a recession but this inversion is not as reliable, in my view, as people think, Ross said in an interview with Fox Business Network.

Trump thinks he's going to slip a vote-suppressing Voter ID law through like Paul Ryan's tax cuts.
He wants to keep the non-Trump voters home and shore up those electoral college votes.
If you've noticed, he's tweeting and turning around every interaction with the press into a statement about how we need voter identification.
I posted a thread yesterday in which he was asked about banning high-volume gun magazines and his answer was that we need Voter Identification.
Hopefully, everyone in Congress who is not on the Trump train is watching this, since it's in plain frigging sight, and will step on his little scheme.
Otherwise, it will be Republicans in the Rose Garden again, this time without Paul Ryan, crackin' open another couple of cases of Bud Lights and laughing their asses off.
Reporter asks Trump about high-capacity magazine ban, Trump responds with...
@ddale8
Asked today about banning high-capacity magazines, Trump ended up talking about the concept of mental institution and the concept also of voter identification:

STABLE GENIUS! For Trump, four plus one equals two (maybe four)
@realDonaldTrump
House Democrats want to take action against Israel because it is fighting back against two (maybe four) people that have said unthinkably bad things about it & the Israeli people. Dems have such disdain for Israel! What happened? AOC Plus 4 is the new face of the Democrat Party!

For some unknown reason, I just flashed back on the narwhal threads that used to proliferate on DU.
I don't even remember the content or context, but I know there used to be narwhal threads here...LOTS of 'em.
If you remember them, please feel to refresh our collective memories.

Trump: "Juan Williams at Fox News is so pathetic, always nasty and wrong!"
@realDonaldTrump
Juan Williams at @FoxNews is so pathetic, and yet when he met me in the Fox Building lobby, he couldnt have been nicer as he asked me to take a picture of him and me for his family. Yet he is always nasty and wrong!

NBC News poll: 40% of voters say they'll "definitely" or "probably" vote for Trump, 52% for Dems
@kylegriffin1
NBC News poll: 40% of voters say they'll "definitely" or "probably" vote for Trump.
52% say they will "definitely" or "probably" vote for the Democratic candidate.
Of note: Trump's approval in this poll is 43% so even some who approve of him ostensibly won't vote for him.

Trump worried that Steve King will impact his chances in Iowa in the 2020 election. So sad!
Sitting in with CNNs Victor Blackwell on Sunday morning, contributor April Ryan relayed that Rep. Steve King (R-IA) is in big trouble not only with his party over his latest comments about rape and incest, but that Donald Trump is aggravated with him too because he may impact the presidents chances in Iowa in the 2020 election.
With King reeling from the fallout from his own comments made during an appearance earlier in the week, Ryan said that his days may be numbered because senior Republicans want him gone too.
He was already stripped of his committee assignments earlier for his comments about white supremacy, being offensive now, Blackwell began. Is there any indication that anyone, any Republican in Washington is going to take some action against Steve King, not just suggest that he resign?
You also have a president that feels hes a distraction no matter what he says, Ryan then added. This president is having a problem in Iowa, another state he is having a problem in, and Steve King is not helping. Republicans are doing a lot of things, talking behind closed doors and Steve King is in trouble. All of this stuff is coming up, its catching up with him.
