The circular firing squad commences...Jindal thumps Trump, pees himself over GOP's "chance" in 2016

Jindal Rips 'Narcissist' Trump, Calls His Campaign a 'Carnival Act'

"It's been a lot of fun, but here's the problem: Donald Trump is not a serious candidate. He's a narcissist. He's an egomaniac. The only thing he believes in is himself. I want to say what everybody is thinking about Donald Trump, but is afraid to say," said Jindal.

"Like all narcissists, Donald Trump is insecure and weak. ... We know that only a very weak and small person needs to constantly tell us how strong and powerful they are."

Jindal said that recently Trump claimed that his favorite book is the Bible, but yet he could not name a verse or passage that had an impact on him.

"Donald Trump has never read the Bible. The reason we know he has not read the Bible is that he's not in the Bible," said Jindal, likening the Trump campaign to a "carnival act." He said Republicans are going to blow their chance in 2016 by possibly nominating an "un-serious, unstable" candidate in Trump.

Conservatives are up in arms over comments by Fox News host Shepard Smith, who called out Christian hypocrisy during the broadcast of Kentucky clerk Kim Davis’ release from jail Tuesday.

Davis was jailed last week after a judge held her in contempt of court for refusing to issue marriage licenses as Rowan County clerk in compliance with the Supreme Court’s decision legalizing same-sex marriage in all U.S. states. She was released Tuesday, and during the live broadcast featuring prayer and GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, Smith broke in with commentary.

“They set this up as a religious play again,” he said. “This is the same crowd that says, ‘We don’t want Sharia law, don’t let them tell us what to do, keep their religion out of our lives and out of our government,’” Smith said, according to Mediaite.

He added that the Supreme Court has ruled that you can’t let one group of people do something that another group isn’t allowed to do. “This is not unprecedented. They did it when they said black and white people couldn’t marry,” he said, concluding that “haters are gonna hate.”

Sarah Palin Heckler Escorted Away By Security At Anti-Iran Deal Rally

A heckler who interrupted former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) at a rally against the Iran nuclear deal outside of the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday was escorted away by security.

In video of the incident obtained from one angle, the demonstrator appeared to approach the stage while Palin was speaking and hold up a sign before he was intercepted by security.

Palin was one of several speakers at the rally, which also included Republican presidential hopefuls Sen. Ted Cruz (R) and Donald Trump.

Here's what a Baptist preacher told me today about Kim the Wonder Martyr.

"If your principles stand in the way of doing your job, you have to find another job."

I found that to be extremely encoraging. Her situation really doesn not call for a discussion of religious beliefs. She's paid to do a job. Di it or go home.

Huckabee: "God intervened. God showed up in the form of an elected Democrat named Kim Davis."

Ky. clerk's attorney says she won't resign

David Moore, who was among those originally denied a license in Rowan, said he was surprised by the ruling that let Davis go even though he was not happy to see her jailed. He said he only wanted Davis to do her job and treat people equally. "To see her paraded out as some kind of martyr, I don't like the way that looks," Moore said. "I don't believe she is a martyr. She is not in jail because she is a Christian. She's in jail because of contempt of court."

Tuesday's rally outside the jail drew thousands to the small Eastern Kentucky town of Grayson, where leaders from religious and conservative groups urged Christians to be prepared to stand up for religious convictions, even against the courts and government officials. Speakers also took shots at Gov. Steve Beshear, who has declined to call a special session on the matter.

Headlining the event, Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee said Davis’ supporters do not want to see America become the “smoldering remains of a great republic,” and that America’s creation occurred only through the providence of God.

“The only explanation is that God intervened,” he said. “And I believe this week … God showed up, and he showed up in the form of an elected Democrat named Kim Davis.”

Overnight fire destroys "Full Throttle Saloon" bar in Sturgis

Overnight fire destroys Full Throttle Saloon

http://www.kbhbradio.com/news/overnight-fire-destroys-full-throttle-saloon/article_9a402c8a-55fa-11e5-92ce-0b9e9e4118b9.html

STURGIS, S.D. - Numerous fire agencies were called in to battle a massive fire at the Full Throttle Saloon east of Sturgis overnight Monday.

The call came in just after midnight, and crews first on the seen could see smoke coming from the roof of the main structure. Soon, the entire facility was engulfed in flames, which spread to nearby structures.

Heavy smoke rose into the early morning air as fire crews raced back and forth bringing water and supplies. The lack of water on the bar grounds prompted fire officials to call in tenders, which then had to go back and reload.

A call came out from those in charge to keep people out of the burning structure. Rather, fire crews worked to "surround and drown," or fight the fire from outside by surrounding it.

Mother of civil rights leader Jesse Jackson dies

Source: WCNC.com NBC Charlotte

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Helen Burns Jackson, who gave birth at the age of 16 to a boy who would grow up to become one of the nation's most prominent civil rights leaders and run for president twice, died Monday. She was 92.

She had been in declining health for several years but didn't suffer from any chronic disease, her son, the Rev. Jesse Jackson, said.

"God has given her a long life and he's letting her down easy," Jackson said during a meeting with editors and reporters of The Greenville News a few days before his mother's death.

He remembered her as the embodiment of Christian charity, and as a lifelong advisor who always kept him going back to the Scriptures for guidance.
