Miles Archer
Miles Archer's Journal"President Tim Scott." "President Nikki Haley." I want to feel bad for them but can't stop laughing.
I'm trying to think of a single Republican who could run in 2024 who isn't fully tainted with the stench of MAGA, who HAS "crossover appeal" and could get a majority of votes from Independents AND maybe some Democrats as well.
I'm coming up dry, folks.
Tim SCOTT? Sweet Jesus, NO. A less vocal, less ebullient Trump cheerleader than Lindsey Graham, but STILL tethered to Fat Orange Jesus.
Nikki HALEY? Queen of the flip-floppers. Does she LOVE Trump or does she think it's time to move on? YES.
We're shaping up for a GOP Primary bloodbath like the one we had in 2016, with Trump getting the nomination.
And I don't believe for a minute that DeSantis' "woke / don't say gay" clown show bullshit will play on a NATIONAL level.
Jen Psaki on MSNBC, Sundays @ Noon ET? Give her Alex Wagner's T-F 9 PM ET time slot instead.
Ever since landing the T-F Maddow time slot, Wagner has CONSISTENTLY aired FAR TOO MANY Tucker Carlson clips.I question the importance of keeping her audience up-to-date with Carlson's latest gas passings, but airing clips really isn't MSNBC fare.
She's NOT AS BAD as Chuck Todd or Andrea Mitchell, but she ALSO does NOT belong in Maddow's time slot.
MSNBC has announced plans for a brand-new program with former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.
The show, titled Inside with Jen Psaki, will air Sundays at noon ET on MSNBC beginning March 19, followed by a release on NBCs Peacock streaming platform a day later.
The program plans to utilize Psakis public policy experience to give an in-depth look at our countrys biggest issues.
Her extensive experience in government and on the campaign trail and perspective as a White House and Washington insider is the type of analysis that sets MSNBC apart, said Rashida Jones, MSNBCs president, in a statement from last May when the deal was first announced. Shes a familiar face and trusted authority to MSNBC viewers, and we look forward to her insight during this consequential election season.
JFC, he actually USED OHIO to PIMP "Trump Spring Water."
The ex-president took Trump Spring Water to an Ohio town reeling from a derailment disaster, along with some water he said was of a much lesser quality.

Theres an old saying in politics: Never let a crisis go to waste.
It looks like former President Donald Trump heeded that advice during Wednesdays visit to disaster-stricken East Palestine, Ohio, site of a 50-car derailment earlier this month.
Trump made the visit even though he no longer has the ability to declare the town a disaster area ― or any of the other things a president can do in the event of a tragedy.
But what he does have is chutzpah and, apparently, a whole bunch of bottles of Trump water lying around.
Nothing makes victims of a toxic train derailment feel better than a rant about 2020 being stolen.

EAST PALESTINE, Ohio (WKBN)- Former President Donald Trump landed in the Valley as part of a local visit to East Palestine.
He will be heading to East Palestine after flying into the Youngstown/Warren Regional Airport.
Details of his visit have not been released to the public.
Nikki Haley's very Trumpian response to big bad sexist ageist meanie Don Lemon's remarks
Nikki Haley Now Selling Past My Prime Beer Koozies After Don Lemons RemarkI'll repeat myself here...I do not like her. It's not because of her gender. It's not because of her age. It's not because of her ethnicity. It's because of the words that come out when she opens her mouth. It's because she thinks DeSantis' woke / don't say gay sideshow antics "don't go far enough." It's because she's flip flopped relentlessly on Trump, from being one of his most enthusiastic ass kissers to a lukewarm "critic."
I'm also not a fan of Don Lemon. I don't get the appeal. I also don't understand why CNN ended Brianna Keilar's show to make room for Lemon and his two female co-hosts, because there is NO chemistry, and all three of them look like they'd rather be anywhere but in a room all together.
And yeah, I do think Lemon's remarks about Haley WERE stupid and ageist and sexist, but I haven't set the bar very high for him. When you expect VERY little out of someone, it's hard to be disappointed when they put their foot in their mouth. And Don somehow managed to go into stupid, insensitive, sexist, ageist overdrive.
BUT NONE OF THAT MADE ME "LIKE" HALEY, for the reasons I listed above.
Her decision to cash in on it and plaster the meme on beer koozies only amplified what I felt about her.
I'll save my sympathy / empathy for someone who deserves it, not a craven and crass Trumpy Republican.
"Why Not ME?" Nikki Haley serves up a non-answer word salad justifying her "candidacy."
"Why not me?" Haley replied. "You know, I am a the wife of a combat veteran. I'm a mother of two children; one who is getting married and I see how hard it is for her to look at buying a home; one that's in college, and I see what he's dealing with woke education."
*****
Haley pointed out that her parents were immigrants "who are upset about what's happening at the border."
"I don't want to wait for someone else to fix this," she continued. "I want to make sure we get in there and fix this. I'm not a lawyer; I'm an accountant. I've never worked in D.C., and I think it's time we start putting a fire under what's happening in Congress."
*****
Haley declined to detail her qualifications for president during the answer.
I don't think a single word of the "BOMBSHELL" reporting on Fox will matter to their viewers
I could be wrong.
My sister is someone who "gets her news" from Fox. She doesn't "trust" any other channel.
I'm seeing headline after headline about their "lies," but I'm struggling to see how any of this will matter to the people ol' Rupe has already successfully brainwashed.
Also, it's another "too big to fail" mess...no one's gonna "take them down." There's too much at stake.
Am I missing something? If so, please tell me, because I'm seeing a whole lot of noise about something their viewers won't believe.
SS & Medicare Crusader Trump in 2019: Cuts could be a "fun second term project"
I'm NOT defending Haley...far from it...but Trump is attacking her for backing Paul Ryan's proposal to cut "entitlements," and in 2019, HE SAID GUTTING MEDICARE COULD BE A FUN SECOND-TERM PROJECT
I have seen a LOT OF COVERAGE of Trump admonishing Republicans in this area. It is RARELY accompanied by his own 2019 marks and great enthusiasm for slicing and dicing.
The Misogynist Things Trump Has Said That His Lawyers Don't Want Jurors to Hear
https://www.thedailybeast.com/the-misogynist-things-trump-has-said-that-his-lawyers-dont-want-jurors-to-hear
On Monday, a federal judge finalized some key issues in the Bill Cosby-type civil trial where Trump is accused of raping the magazine columnist E. Jean Carroll in a dressing room at a high-end Manhattan department store. Among them is the evidence thatll be shown.
Trumps lawyers are trying to stop a long list of video clips and photos from being presented at trial, labeling them irrelevant and unduly prejudicial. The judge still has not made a final determination about what he will allow at trial.
For now, Trumps lawyers dog-earing all the clips they dont want jurors to see could have the opposite effect, like when Barbra Streisand turned to the courts in 2003 to suppress a photo of her Malibu home. And you can watch all the clips in the above video.
The Access Hollywood tape
It didnt cost him the 2016 election, but lawyers worry itll cost him a ton of money now. This is the infamous tape, first exposed by The Washington Post, in which Trump was caught on a hot mic bragging about his ability to get away with sexually assaulting women while riding in a bus with Access Hollywood correspondent Billy Bush.
Happy Valentines Day, and thanks again to the folks who gave me hearts
Very much appreciated, thanks again.
