Miles Archer's JournalTom Cole (R-OK): Impeachment "a Democratic fantasy," Repubs only discuss in response to Dems
Just now on MSNBC.
Said Republicans "never discuss impeachment."
Was corrected by the MSNBC host.
Cole then smirked and said "Very, very seldom, and only in response to something said by a Democrat," called it a "Democratic fantasy."

Nicki Minaj Addresses Nazism Accusations in 'Only' Video
"I didn't come up with the concept, but I'm very sorry and take full responsibility if it has offended anyone," says rapper. "I'd never condone Nazism in my art"

Update: "Only" lyric video director Jeffrey Osborne has said he will not apologize for the clip.
Nicki Minaj's lyric video for "Only," which also features Drake, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown on the track, sparked the ire of the Anti-Defamation League recently when the organization's director, Abraham H. Foxman a Holocaust survivor called it "a new low for pop culture's exploitation of Nazi symbolism." The animated video shows a horde of soldiers all with red armbands assembling around long, red banners displaying a Young Money logo that have been compared by some to a swastika. Minaj, who is depicted as a leather-clad dictator in the clip, replied to the accusations via Twitter.
"The artist who made the video for 'Only' was influenced by a cartoon on Cartoon Network called Metalocalypse and (the nonCartoon Network-affiliated movie and graphic novel) Sin City," she wrote. "Both the producer and person in charge of overseeing the lyric video (one of my best friends and videographer: A. Loucas), happen to be Jewish. I didn't come up with the concept, but I'm very sorry and take full responsibility if it has offended anyone. I'd never condone Nazism in my art."
Foxman condemned the video not just for its imagery, but for the tactlessness of releasing the video on the 76th anniversary of Kristallnacht, the "Night of Broken Glass" pogrom in which tens of thousands of Jews were brought to concentration camps and more than 1,000 synagogues were burned, signaling the beginning of the Holocaust.
So far, the freeps do not share George W. Bush's enthusiasm for a third Bush in the White House.

Do we want four more years of another Bush?

I like the idea of GW Bush painting flowers. Quietly, in private. Alone....well, maybe with Jeb to keep him company.

Seriously? What's he going to say, that he thinks it's a stupid idea for HIS BROTHER to run for the Presidency?
Of course George W thinks it's a good idea for his brother to run for the office. Perhaps we should ask his wife, his children, Barbara and HW Bush what they think?
Beyond that, i'd rather have a Hillary over another Bush, and I assure you I don't want another Hillary.
Everyone needs to spike the idea of another Bush in the office of the Presidency, that family has done quite enough already.

The Bushes should be PROUD of themselves for hijacking fucking VETERANS DAY.
I don't know about you, but I heard more about the BUSH FAMILY today than I heard about VETERANS.
I usually leave MSNBC on in the background strictly for background noise and had to turn it off today. Couldn't take it. I watch "The Voice" so I had the local NBC station on in advance of that. The "Jenna Interview" was shown THERE so I turned the TV off until it was over.
Pretty smart of them, picking a high-profile day like Veterans Day to sell their revisionist swill.
WOW! Jenna and Junior telling Poppy's story on MSNBC because Poppy is TOO HUMBLE!
The Andrea Greenspan Reacharound Hour. That was Jenna's introduction, Poppy hasn't written his own story because he is "too humble."
Jenna interviewing Dubya about Little Baby Jesus George H.W. Bush.
It's BUSH FEVER, and only on MSNBC!
Jon Stewart: "Axis of Evil" is reductive, ignorance-based shit
Jon Stewart on 'Rosewater,' Springsteen and 'Sexual Tension' With Bill O'Reilly
The 'Daily Show' host on directing his first film, Colbert and the right-wing TV machine
By Andy Greene | November 11, 2014
Jon Stewart has a week off from The Daily Show, but as he walks into a tiny conference room at the show's midtown Manhattan headquarters late on a Monday afternoon, it's clear he's completely exhausted. He slumps in a chair and admits he's spent the entire day doing press for his new movie, Rosewater, and is beginning to grow hoarse. But he's determined to promote his passion project, and soon enough he perks up. Writing and directing Rosewater is unlike anything Stewart has attempted in his career. It's the true story of Maziar Bahari, an Iranian Newsweek reporter, who was interviewed by Daily Show correspondent Jason Jones in 2009. During the show, Bahari joked around that he was a spy; the Iranian government didn't see the humor and believed Bahari was working for the CIA. He was detained and tortured for 118 days by the police in Iran.
You happened to be in the Middle East at a time when much of the region started to go up in flames.
Was there a time when the region wasn't going up in flames? Did I miss something?
Fair point, but it's been particularly bad the past year.
Yeah. We'd get notices under the door from the embassy saying, "We urge all Americans not to gather in large groups or make yourself noticeable." I learned a lot over there. We are, to them, one large bloc of truck-driving cowboy yahoos that like to drop bombs on people. It's two-dimensional on both sides. You know, "Axis of Evil" is as reductive as "Death to America." It's all the same shit. It's ignorance-based. What I will say is that the presence of evil is rare. Malevolence is a relatively rare occurrence. General ignorance is a widespread epidemic.

Jon Stewart: "Jimmy Carter's, like, 108, he's out in Africa..."
This weekend Stewart sat down with his old friend Mo Rocca on CBS's "Sunday Morning" to talk about his new film "Rosewater," which he wrote and directed. The film covers the politics and protests of Iran's 2009 elections as seen through the eyes of one journalist.
With George W. Bush also being interviewed on that episode of "Sunday Morning," Stewart was asked about interviewing politicians and about the former president. Stewart answered the question the way only he could, comparing Bush with another former president, Jimmy Carter.
"Jimmy Carter's, like, 108, he's out in Africa, like, pulling Guinea worms out of children's feet trying to cure them. Bush is at home, 'Ah, bring me my fruit bowl, I'm doin' a still life. Heh heh heh.'"

Burger King Canada tops poutine...with a BURGER! USA! USA! USA! Er...I mean "OH CANADA!"
http://www.thedailymeal.com/burger-king-canada-poutine-topped-with-burger/110914
When a restaurant serves poutine and has burgers in the building, it seems like only a matter of time before someone gets the idea to combine them. But Burger King Canada has taken the experiment beyond the mere "cool idea" phase and added burger poutine to the menu nationwide.
According to Brand Eating, the dish is officially called Poutine à la Burger, and it is a bowl of the chains regular French fries topped with gravy, cheese curds, and a hamburger with all the fixings, including pickles, ketchup, mustard, and a beef patty chopped into bite-sized pieces. Burger King already had regular poutine and poutine with bacon on the menu, so throwing a burger on there was clearly the next stage in poutine evolution.
One order reportedly has 880 calories, 46 grams of fat, and 1490 milligrams of sodium, but with a name like Poutine à la Burger, nobody thought it was going to be diet food.
