Military Caves To Fox News; Creates POW Trade Value Meat Chart

POW confirmed captured, hero, Republican - 100 Taliban

POW confirmed captured, not hero, Democrat - let him die

POW maybe deserted, maybe not hero, maybe tortured, parents Republican - 5 Taliban

The official Military Code of Conduct, as amended, like the insurance industry meat charts, is much longer.

That is the logical result of the insanity.

Primaries have about 10% turnout. Yet America claims the mantle of "democracy"?

There is your problem right there, because it proves that soldiers dying overseas to protect and spread democracy is the biggest lie of all.

Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Cuba, any number of invasions and overthrows based on lies and hypocrisy, all said to be in the name of democracy, all in the the name of preserving a two party Duocracy, now predictably being handed over to the zealots of money and the zealots of religion. While 90% sit idly by and debate the last nip slip.

Americans do not care for democracy, they care to be ruled authoritatively, the evangelicals most of all who turnout to vote in barbarian hordes so they can be told how to think, they demand it.

No wonder massive and blatant hypocrisy gets a pass in America, the whole nation is founded on hypocrisy.

Former POW John McCain was nicknamed "Songbird" for alleged aerial info. he gave up. True or not

McCain was once attacked as he now attacks former POW Bergdahl. His defence is that there was no evidence he was a traitor, and he got to defend himself to the critics.

The hypocrisy runs deep when one is aware that McCain signed a confession in custody that he was a "black criminal"' under duress he claims.

"Lt. John McCain (H) also did radio broadcasts and more than 30 films for the Vietcong Military! I mean for gods-sake the Vietnamese (and his fellow POW's) called him SONGBIRD....since he was SINGING from the day he got there! Giving all our info up!!! After McCain was captured our the Vietnamese began shooting our planes down much more often...an increase of like 60% (thanks to songbird giving the routes, altitudes, etc)....which in turn caused America to stop flying missions over Vietnam...."

I post the allegations , the evidence, the defence and the contrarian viewpoint for fairness, as McCain seems unable to understand the term. Were there Congressional hearings just for him focused on his traitorous actions, because I do not think so.

In his memoir Faith of My Fathers, McCain says that he initially offered the information because he was badly injured and afraid of dying. But, he wrote, "I didn't intend to keep my word."

When he was later interrogated, McCain gave his ship's name and squadron number and confirmed the target of his failed mission, he wrote. He also gave the names of the Green Bay Packers' offensive line and said they were members of his squadron.

Asked to identify future targets, he mentioned North Vietnamese cities that U.S. planes had already bombed.

At one point, McCain broke down and signed a confession. But Timberg, the biographer, said McCain deliberately used misspellings, grammatical errors and Communist jargon to show he was writing under duress: "I am a black criminal and I have performed the deeds of an air pirate. I almost died, and the Vietnamese people saved my life . . . "

Day, a Medal of Honor winner who also is supporting McCain's campaign, said the flyer is "the most outrageous f------ lie I've ever heard."

The man behind the flyer is Gerard "Jerry" W. Kiley, 61, of Garnerville, N.Y., who says he served in Vietnam for about a year. He describes his group as a one-man operation unaffiliated with any political party or campaign. He says he opposes McCain because of the senator's efforts to normalize relations with the Vietnamese communist government and because, in his view, McCain has helped the U.S. government keep information about POWs classified.

The Military Strikes Back At GOP/RW Propaganda: 'You Lie'

Pentagon officials probing claims that eight soldiers died while looking for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl have confirmed two troops from his unit died while the search was underway, but not while they while they were on patrol, a senior defense official told Fox News Friday.

Bergdahl was held by the Taliban for five years before being released last week in exchange for five Taliban Guantanamo detainees. Since his release, members of Bergdahl’s unit at the time of his disappearance have said he was a deserter and claimed eight men died as a result of the search for him.

The official said the two soldiers in Bergdahl’s unit who died were in a combat outpost that was attacked. The official said it was impossible to prove a link between their deaths and Bergdahl's disappearance."

Like I say, put away the popcorn and take out the candied almonds, this GOP on Military propaganda war is going to be awesome.

Fox is dropping the issue like a hot tamale, who in the RW can dispute facts from the Holy Military of America as reported by their very own propaganda leaders?

In case you miss it, note how the Foxy title has little to do with the main facts that the two soldiers died when their base came under attack, during the TIME frame of the search......cons have no concept of time, the more linear it is, the less they understand of it.

(Why do I always feel so dirty after posting a Fox News link, even a factual one...?)

Edit thought: how many soldiers died Saving Private Ryan but Saving Private Bergdahl, the only
American soldier in captivity on the entire planet at the end of a promised 2 year "excursion" that turned into 13 years of war against a force America was never at war with in the first place and were once our beloved bearded allies, is an impeachable offence.....only when the media have totally and collectively lost their minds it is.

Edit info: The Maximum Penalty For Most Serious Desertion Is Five Years Imprisonment

No mention of imprisonment with the Taliban until death. Time served of 5 years imprisoned by the Taliban would seem more than enough punishment though, who would say not?

Uniform Military Code of U.S. Military

Article 85 - Desertion. (This is the most serious of the absentee offenses. Remember the primary difference between AWOL and desertion is intent to remain away from the military permanently.)

(1) If a member deserted, but voluntarily returned to military control: Dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, reduction to the lowest enlisted grade, and confinement for 2 years.

(2) If the member deserted and the desertion was terminated by apprehension: Dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, reduction to the lowest enlisted grade, and confinement for 3 years.

(3) If the member deserted with the intent to avoid hazardous duty or to shirk important service (and example of this would be a member ordered to deploy to Iraq and then deserts to avoid the deployment): Dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, reduction to the lowest enlisted grade, and confinement for 5 years.

(4) If the member deserts during time of war: Death or such other punishment (such as life in prison) as a court-martial may direct.

In Bergdahl's case it is common ground that sub (4) does not apply as an official Congressional deceleration of war confirmed by the President is required.

Blaming Victims of Sexual Crimes for the Sexual Crimes An Unacceptable Stereotype: Montana S.C.

“There is no place in the Montana judiciary for perpetuating the stereotype that women and girls are responsible for sexual crimes committed against them,” the Montana Supreme Court concluded, holding that Judge G. Todd Baugh violated ethics rules."

Last year, Judge G. Todd Baugh sentenced former teacher Stacey Dean Rambold to just 31 days in jail, suspending the remainder of what would have been a 15-year prison sentence, for raping his 14-year-old student. This sentence was later overturned. But the controversy didn’t end there. Baugh explained his sentence by saying that the victim was a “youth that was probably as much in control of the situation as [Rambold], one that was seemingly, though troubled, older than her chronological age.” Baugh explained his sentence to the press by saying, “it was horrible enough as it is just given her age, but it wasn’t this forcible beat-up rape.” The girl’s family said emotional distress from the crime led her to commit suicide. After more than 30,000 people called for his resignation, later apologized for the comments as well as the sentence.

Conservative State Supreme Court reaffirming that 19th century sexual crime stereotypes should no longer have a place in or be perpetuated within the Montana judiciary, eh?....because the place for perpetuating the stereotype that women and girls are responsible for sexual crimes against them is in the Republican Party.

Republicans In Wonderland; Sentence First, Verdict Afterwards

Queen of Hearts: Now then, are you ready for your sentence?
Alice: But there has to be a verdict first.
Queen of Hearts: Sentence first! Verdict afterwards.
Alice: But that just isn't the way.
Queen of Hearts: [shouting] All ways are...!
Alice: ...your ways, your Majesty

How much more evidence does America need? Republicans are attacking the foundations of democracy from voter rights, gerrymandering, poll taxes, false mailers, false voter fraud allegations, undermining Presidential authority, attacking foreign policy while in foreign lands, obstruction of the Senate, many more, but now this......attacking the rule of law, the presumption of innocence, the supremacy of military law for military personal, the no man left behind tradition, the right of due process, the right to a defence and the right to testify.

How long will the media remain codependent, eating up the ready made right wing plates of red meat lies and obvious propaganda......... to keep viewers watching?

Taliban relatives and fighters celebrate release of POW's, like civilized people do.

The Taliban commander told NBC News the exchange was the first time its 'enemy' had 'officially recognized our status.'
He said: 'Once we confirmed the arrival of our five heroes back in Qatar, celebrations started everywhere in Afghanistan and the neighboring Pakistan.

The mostly mid- to high-level Taliban officials were detained early in the war in Afghanistan (2001-2003) because of their positions within the Taliban, not because of ties to al Qaeda, CNN reported.

In response, the White House said that officials considered what they called 'unique and exigent circumstances' and decided to go ahead with the transfer in spite of the legal requirement.
And Hagel, who was traveling to Afghanistan to meet with U.S. troops, said the action was not relayed to Congress because of its urgency. He said intelligence indicated that Bergdahl's 'health was deteriorating.'
At Bagram Air Field, Hagel thanked the special operations forces that participated in the rescue.

(Celebration of real soldiers at Bagram)

Gen. Joseph Dunford said there was a sense of excitement in the headquarters as the news spread.
'You almost got choked up,' he said. 'It was pretty extraordinary. It has been almost five years and he is home.'

P.S. What happens after Qatar transfers the Taliban to Afghanistan? I assume the Afghan government is not going to be all that kind to them.

1st Q: Personal Wealth Up $1.5 Trillion; Stocks At Record Highs; All Recession Jobs Lost, Regained

If you turn these graphs upside down and ignore facts, history and math, then Obama is a failure.....how much longer can the media sustain the false narrative and con job in the face of facts?

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) — Thanks to rising house prices and a growing stock market, U.S. households and nonprofits added $1.5 trillion in net worth in the first quarter, according to Federal Reserve data released Thursday.

The data was part of a voluminous report called the “financial accounts of the United States,” which contains details on an array of assets and liabilities. The gain in net worth to $81.76 trillion was driven by a $758 billion increase in the value of residential real estate and a $361 billion rise in corporate equities.

New U.S. Military Recruitment Poster: "We leave no man behind.*" *Excludes men the media dislikes.

Taking on the Uniform Code of Conduct and the Soldiers Code of Conduct cherished by the military and all military personnel is creating a GOP/Media war versus the military.......leave the popcorn, pull out the candied almonds for this one.

The freaky media and their freaking talking heads exploding is hilarious, hating anyone other than a white man making the tough calls is outrageous to them. I think the vast majority of Americans are seeing what the media and the GOP are doing to military tradition and they must not be pleased, dolts that they usually are this one is on their level of understanding.

Fox News Poll: Americans Evenly Divided Over Bergdahl/Taliban Exchange

"Do you approve or disapprove of the United States releasing five Taliban prisoners held at Guantanamo Bay in exchange for the release of a U.S. soldier who was being held as a prisoner of war in Afghanistan?"

Approve 45%, Disapprove, 48%, (Don't Know), 8%

Uh, oh, seems Americans are not nearly as outraged as the RW Media....

And two other points, if I may. First, the question admits Bergdahl was a POW and a prisoner, not a hostage.
Second, if the question added that the prisoner was held captive for five years, I think the numbers would change.

Fox and McCain and the rest of the cult have jumped the shark, walking this back is going to be almost as disastrous as doubling down on the crazy hypocrisy.

Edit: Fox is burying this little tidbit and screaming about push poll questions on other issues.....the shark of public opinion is biting back. The righteous outrage of the left wing at the faux outrage of the right wing is like nothing I have seen, and fully justified.
