Southern Poverty Law Center Map of Hate: 22 Active Hate Groups In Alabama

"Well, it's a real melting pot of intolerance that contains Neo Nazis, Neo Confederates, White Nationalists, the Nation of Islam, and the plain old KKK. Alabama is tied with Mississippi in this survey, but far behind Georgia, which has 50 cells identified."

Prospective 2009 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, President Barrack Obama, has given peace a chance, and

anyone who does not see that clearly after the rejected wars in Libya, Iran, Syria, and now Iraq, is simply a victim of the propaganda salvo of the media and the neocons still in control of it.

The way the media has manipulated public opinion by turning America's military commitment to prisoners of war or conflict into a bad thing, and how America has been convinced not to celebrate such a thing, or even the thing of capturing a real live terrorist villain, is frightening, an example of the power of propaganda. There is a reason the military has a massive Psych-Ops operation.

And the media has one too. Do not make the mistake of thinking that it is not effective, right wing, left wing or wingnut, does not matter, it is done became it is effective.

Some people realize that American people have been the target of domestic Pscyh-Ops operation long before Operation Iraqi Liars Storm's eventual failure blew the lid off the obviousness of it all, but not until the damage was done, mission accomplished.

Now they (the lackey media) want to launch Operation Iraqi Liars Storm 2; The Return
Of The Neocons?

Screw them, and yes we can this time, because the guy in the White House gets it. Alfred Nobel's medal sits on his desk.

Which is why the neocons and their captured media divisions so cry and prance and dance and squirm when asked the tough questions, this even modest pushback never happened in the first operation, the Dixie Chicks heresy met with a traditional burning at the stake showed what happened if anyone dared to counter attack.

Remarks by the President at the Acceptance of the Nobel Peace Prize

Oslo City Hall
Oslo, Norway

1:44 P.M. CET 2009 A.D.

THE PRESIDENT: "Your Majesties, Your Royal Highnesses, distinguished members of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, citizens of America, and citizens of the world:

I receive this honor with deep gratitude and great humility. It is an award that speaks to our highest aspirations -- that for all the cruelty and hardship of our world, we are not mere prisoners of fate. Our actions matter, and can bend history in the direction of justice.

And yet I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the considerable controversy that your generous decision has generated. (Laughter.) In part, this is because I am at the beginning, and not the end, of my labors on the world stage. Compared to some of the giants of history who've received this prize -- Schweitzer and King; Marshall and Mandela -- my accomplishments are slight. And then there are the men and women around the world who have been jailed and beaten in the pursuit of justice; those who toil in humanitarian organizations to relieve suffering; the unrecognized millions whose quiet acts of courage and compassion inspire even the most hardened cynics. I cannot argue with those who find these men and women -- some known, some obscure to all but those they help -- to be far more deserving of this honor than I.

But perhaps the most profound issue surrounding my receipt of this prize is the fact that I am the Commander-in-Chief of the military of a nation in the midst of two wars. One of these wars is winding down. The other is a conflict that America did not seek; one in which we are joined by 42 other countries -- including Norway -- in an effort to defend ourselves and all nations from further attacks."

...........

"We must begin by acknowledging the hard truth: We will not eradicate violent conflict in our lifetimes. There will be times when nations -- acting individually or in concert -- will find the use of force not only necessary but morally justified.

I make this statement mindful of what Martin Luther King Jr. said in this same ceremony years ago: "Violence never brings permanent peace. It solves no social problem: it merely creates new and more complicated ones." As someone who stands here as a direct consequence of Dr. King's life work, I am living testimony to the moral force of non-violence. I know there's nothing weak -- nothing passive -- nothing naïve -- in the creed and lives of Gandhi and King."

_____________

That last sentence is the one that bears repeating. Despite the drone attacks, side discussion necessary, a real blemish on his record, Obama, has remained true to those words and the words he spoke in public on the record 5 years ago now.

Really, no wonder blood thirsty warmongers and short term thinkers hate him ever so much, he is their evil opposite Bizarro World twin.

The Immaculate International Missions of Obama

1. Removal of Syrian chemical weapons
2. Capture of hijacked Libyan oil tanker
3. Elimination of Somali piracy
4. Rescue of Sgt. Bergdahl
5. Flawless capture of Bengazhi suspect
6. Elimination of Bin Ladin
7. Elimination of Al Zawahari (pending)
8. Negotiated elimination of Iran nuclear weapons program
9. International agreements for securing of nuclear weapons
10. Libyan air strikes avoided, letting Europe to do something for a change

All, ALL, executed with near perfection; the massive silence of the media on the successes of America and it's incredibly intelligent and thoughtful President is itself a scandal.

Americans have been brainwashed into not being able to celebrate anymore, what a sad nation without celebration.

All of these missions were executed with no or minimal loss of life. Is it only violent successes America seems to celebrate and cherish.

CNN gives ISIS free publicity for their Western terrorist recruitment effort......WTF?

Why would not a single voice in the editorial office not say this is a very stupid idea to even mention they have a propaganda video, and if so, do not mention how remarkable and slick and high production value it is.....but it gins up the Fear Factor back in the homeland, the better to gin up a real war, it is getting truly disgusting how worthless and even damaging the national media have become.

I repeat, WTF? Online and on cable, ISIS thanks you very much.

NASA Shows May Global High Temperature Record Shattered

"Across the world, the global population of fossil fuel-burning automotive machines grew to exceed 1 billion even as emerging countries such as China and India produced hundreds upon hundreds of new, coal-burning power plants. These countries looked to the developed nations for leadership, aid and partnership in confronting the combined crisis of dangerous fossil fuel dependency and impending climate emergency. They were instead met with mixed signals, international gamesmanship, and an endless panoply of national climate and energy policies en-webbed by fossil fuel influence. Now, the fossil fuel addiction has spread. Chinese annual greenhouse gas emissions exceed that of the United States and India may soon follow.

So for at least the past three decades, progress toward solving the critical, growing, damaging and ever-more-likely to be deadly problem of human greenhouse gas emissions stalled.

Hottest May on Record

Today, in the wake of glimmers of a comprehensive, if far too slow, climate policy response from US and Chinese administrations, we are reminded of the terrible consequences of multi-decadal foot-dragging. For, according to NASA, May of 2014 is now the hottest in the climate record at .76 C above the 1951 to 1980 average and about .96 C above average temperatures during the 1880s when global record-keeping began."

.............

&quot Under current ghg emissions trends, assuming a moderate Earth Systems feedback response, global temperatures are projected to rise by between 3 and 4.6 C by the end of this century and by 6 and 9.2 C long-term. If all nations held to ghg emissions pledges, warming could be limited to 2.5 to 3.9 C by the end of this century and 5 to 7.8 C long-term. Either trend is enough to melt all the ice on Earth and risk an anoxic ocean and related greenhouse gas extinction event."

This explains a lot: "Americans Read Headlines. And Not Much Else." Washington Post link.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-fix/wp/2014/03/19/americans-read-headlines-and-not-much-else/

"Fewer Americans invest additional time into following the news more in-depth. The survey asked people about going in-depth for news two different ways. It asked whether people generally tried to get news in-depth on any subject in the last week. It also asked, when they recalled a breaking news story they followed in the last week, whether they had tried to find out more about it after initially learning of it.

Overall, 41 percent of Americans report that they watched, read, or heard any in-depth news stories, beyond the headlines, in the last week. Slightly more people, 49 percent, report that they invested additional time to delve deeper and follow up on the last breaking news story they followed."

...........

"So, roughly six in 10 people acknowledge that they have done nothing more than read news headlines in the past week. And, in truth, that number is almost certainly higher than that, since plenty of people won't want to admit to just being headline-gazers but, in fact, are. Here's that breakdown in chart form:..."

_______________

American public opinion is in the possession of the best headline writers....not a good thing for informed argument.

"Is America Harboring War Criminals, Cheney and Bush?" is one I would like to see out there.

Congressional authorization required for Obama to rescue an American POW, but none for bombing?

WTF is wrong with that picture? The outrage over Obama not playing nice with Congress before rescuing Bergdahl, versus sweet sounds of soothing approval for bombing and killing in another country? No permission necessary, bombs away.

Same picture where the military budget passes like a bowel movement after an overdose of Ex-Lax, but raising the minimum wage or extending EI or health school lunches or gun background checks gets chronically constipated, I guess.

IRS emails "lost" is more GOP media attack dogs sniffing their own arses.

"The missing emails have shined a spotlight on deficiencies in IRS backup procedures. The IRS does a daily backup of its email servers, effectively providing a snapshot of content in email inboxes. Prior to May 2013, however, these backups were stored on tape for six months, with the tapes then being recycled. In May of last year, the IRS changed its policy and began storing, rather than recycling, its tapes.

Experts are also focusing their attention on Lerner’s actual hard drive, with Webster noting that in a typical hard drive failure, much of the data can be recovered via computer forensic tools such as EnCase or FTK."

“I suspect the emails could still be recovered if the hard drives they once resided on were immediately sequestered and forensics tools applied,” added Richard Stiennon, of industry analyst firm IT-Harvest, in an email to FoxNews.com.

In its letter the IRS said that more than 250 of its employees have spent over 120,000 hours working on compliance following the investigations that stemmed from last May's report by the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration.

The agency also acknowledged its challenges finding specific data, noting that its IT systems are designed more for tax administration and preserving confidential taxpayer information.

"They are not really organized to produce this stuff," Roger Kay, president of tech research and consulting firm Endpoint Technologies Associates, told FoxNews.com. "The idea that this happened doesn't surprise me."

This week, the House committee probing the IRS targeting scandal subpoenaed Commissioner John Koskinen to testify about the agency’s claims it cannot locate Lerner's email trove."

http://www.foxnews.com/tech/2014/06/17/irs-email-snafu-mind-boggling-says-it-expert/

----------------

You read that right, emails were not lost, they were routinely deleted at the time after 6 months, because that was how it was done then.

And not to mention the hard drive crash is unrelated, it is that the drive crashed once and the data is unrecoverable. That is why Issa wants the hard drive, to try to pry it open himself, I guess, and to fan the easily lit flames of con outrage.

Notice how Fox sends up a sensationalist title misrepresenting one expert and then reveals the truth, but not to the IT expert they consulted.

I LOVE soccer.

Football, the beautiful game, the religion of entire countries where it is more powerful than real religion, loved throughout the world, in 212 nations of FIFA , though not in the violence loving sporting nations of Canada and America. The disconnect with the rest of the world makes these nations sporting outcasts.

But then again soccer/ football is a communist plot attempting to enslave the world in a UN led cabal of world tyranny.

In reply to now modified title post:

Original version with no edits.

Title: I hate soccer

We are all Dixie Chicks now...and we are still not ready to make nice.

As the American media war machine again gets into gear to cheerlead America into another poorly
argued and little understood bloody conflict half a planet away, against guys transported via pickup trucks with infinitely less resources than required to threaten Baghdad let alone America, I salute the dissenters present and past who will not follow the pied pipers of violence to march the world's only self appointed police force into another bankrupting adventure.

----------------------
I’m not ready to make nice
I’m not ready to back down
I’m still mad as hell and
I don’t have time to go round and round and round
It’s too late to make it right
I probably wouldn’t if I could
‘Cause I’m mad as hell
Can’t bring myself to do what it is you think I should
