Gary Cohn (Chief WH economic advisor) "can't guarantee" middle-class families won't pay more taxes
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/gary-cohn-cant-guarantee-middle-class-families-wont-pay-more-taxes/Surprised?
The GOP has been having wet dreams about reliving the Ronald Reagan era.
But trickle down economics does NOT work. They know that. They just don't give a flying fuck about the U.S.only about themselves.
Wake up you dumb ass Trump, Bush, Reagan voters! They are NOT put in place to help YOU or your causes!
Dining with the GOP:
Every time I see that guy's greasy, pursed lips blabbering on the news /twitter video, etc,
trying to be presidential...
I say to myself,
"What the fuck happened?!"
"Why is that traitor still in the WH?"
Where did this whole Tweet originate from?
Kaepernick wasn't in the press lately in any big way?
It's obvious Trump has just changed the top of the news to suit his needs. I'm starting to think it wasn't just Trump: it was his team.
Trump was (and is) being seen as a traitor; and now he has his fan base (and probably more) seeing him as someone who defends the flag and the national anthem. He doesn't. We know that. He's a traitor. He doesn't (nor do the GOP) care ANYTHING about the U.S.outside of the fact that it's where they make money. But it seems to be working.
Plastic-degrading fungus found in Pakistan rubbish dump
http://www.independent.co.uk/environment/plastic-degrading-fungus-pakistan-rubbish-dump-islamabad-dr-sehroon-khan-a7962046.html"Polyurethane is used to manufacture a huge variety of everyday objects that end up as plastic waste.
Scientists believe they may have discovered one solution to the planets growing level of plastic waste in the form of a plastic-eating fungus.
Researchers who set out to find a naturally occurring means of degrading waste plastic safely, extracted samples from a rubbish dump outside Islamabad in Pakistan and found a soil fungus that was feeding on plastic."

Source: ABC 7 News
All of Puerto Rico was without power by Wednesday afternoon, officials said, just hours after Hurricane Maria made landfall on the island as a Category 4 storm.
Puerto Rico Office of Emergency Management Agency confirmed that 100 percent of the U.S. territory has lost power, noting that anyone with electricity is using a generator.
Puerto Rico Gov. Ricardo Rossello said Maria has caused severe damage to infrastructure. A Category 4 storm has not hit the island since 1932.

Sane days.
I worked from home that day.
I took a photo of myself in front of the tv while President Obama was being sworn in.
That was such a fucking great day.
It was scary, though:
all the damage the GOP (Bush/Cheney) didsending us spiraling down toward another depression; and wondering if we were going to be make it through. I remember hearing the news saying small companies would be crushed in the coming years, and even some of the larger companies were going to go down. It was scary. I had a job, and made it through most of it with that job.
Thanks to President Obama, we were able to make it through those hard times.
Can you imagine what would have happened if Trump had been elected in 2008?
I said it then (and took hard hits from my extreme left wing friends), and I'll say it again...Obama will go down as one of the best Presidents the U.S. has had.
It was nice waking up each day knowing President Obama was at the helm.

California seeks to boost electric-car rebate program (SFGate)
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) California would spend up to $3 billion under a bill to widely expand its fledgling consumer rebate program for zero-emission vehicles.
The state has already spent nearly $450 million in subsidies, but the Los Angeles Times reported (http://lat.ms/2xC52Ij ) that so far, the rebates haven't boosted sales much. In 2016, of the just over 2 million cars sold in the state, only 75,000 were pure-electric and plug-in hybrid cars. To date, out of 26 million cars and light trucks registered in California, just 315,000 are electric or plug-in hybrids.
