Bernie Sanders"what we have to conclude, some people may not want to hear this,Bush won the election

In terms of the vote situation, I'm not sure that there will be a senator who will challenge the vote. I think the key state where there has been controversy is the state of Ohio and the people who I know in Ohio have been outraged by a number of situations where voting lines, for example, were much, much too long because voting machines were not properly allocated in Democratic issues, in Democratic areas. But none of them, to my knowledge, believe that that would have resulted in the kind of votes to enable Kerry to have won. So I'm not sure how far that challenge is going to go.

[Thom Hartmann] Yeah. So you're pessimistic that a senator will stand up on this.

[Bernie Sanders] Yeah, I don't think so, and frankly, I think what we have to conclude, some people may not want to hear this, Bush won the election.

So many Bernie Sanders Fans wanting him to run for president, but if there is election fraud yet again, he seems to have no clue.

How many people remember what happened in 2004?

The exit polls exact opposite of results...so obvious something was going on.

The fraud was even being brought to trial before the key witness Karl Rove's IT guy died in a small plane crash,.

Conyers pretended to be looking into it, had everyone buy his book...but then dropped it shortly afterward.

During Conyers congressional hearing on this, Bernie Sanders was the one to stand up and tell everyone to shut up about it.

He was really quite rude.

I really like what he has to say about almost everything, however, I don't trust him because of this.

I think he is/was just as much as the dog and pony show as Conyers is/was.

Peace Activist Kathy Kelly Heads to Prison for Protesting U.S. Drone War

KATHY KELLY: Well, I think it’s a good time to be very uncompromising with regard to the United States’ wars. These wars are murderous. The wars are killing civilians, as has been happening in the United States’ wars since World War II. Now 90 percent of the people killed in wars are civilians. And this is true certainly with the drone strikes. The Reprieve organization has said that for every one person who is selected as a target for assassination, 28 civilians are killed. And even just three nights ago, there was another targeted assassination in which they hit two homes in the Logar province, and six people were wounded, four people were killed, all of them civilians.

And so, I crossed a line at Whiteman Air Force Base. A squadron operates weaponized drones over Afghanistan. Afghanistan has been an epicenter of drone warfare. And a good symbol for people in Afghanistan is breaking bread. I carried a loaf of bread and a letter, wanting to talk to the commandant. We thought it was important to know how many people were killed by Whiteman Air Force Base on that day.

AMY GOODMAN: And what’s its relationship with Afghanistan?

KATHY KELLY: Well, the weaponized drones are flown—once they’re airborne, they’re operated entirely by people in United States Air National Guard bases and air bases. And so, Whiteman Air Force Base won’t disclose, neither will the CIA disclose, information about the results of these killings, but this is what people in the United States need to know. We have a First Amendment right to seek redress of grievance.

Inspired by Robin Williams, Margaret Cho is Raising Money for the Homeless

Through social media, she has notified fans, who brought coats, pants, shirts, shoes, blankets and lots of socks as well as cash, which she gave away at each event. Her ninth and final performance was on Tuesday.

The inspiration, Ms. Cho said, was her friend Robin Williams, who committed suicide in August at age 63. When she could not shake her sadness, another comedian friend said, “Don’t mourn Robin — be Robin.”

So many sad stories, so nice to see something positive every now and then.

I am sure this is exactly what Robin Williams would want us to do.

Prosecute Torturers and Their Bosses By THE NEW YORK TIMES EDITORIAL BOARD

Since the day President Obama took office, he has failed to bring to justice anyone responsible for the torture of terrorism suspects — an official government program conceived and carried out in the years after the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

He did allow his Justice Department to investigate the C.I.A.'s destruction of videotapes of torture sessions and those who may have gone beyond the torture techniques authorized by President George W. Bush. But the investigation did not lead to any charges being filed, or even any accounting of why they were not filed.

Mr. Obama has said multiple times that “we need to look forward as opposed to looking backwards,” as though the two were incompatible. They are not. The nation cannot move forward in any meaningful way without coming to terms, legally and morally, with the abhorrent acts that were authorized, given a false patina of legality, and committed by American men and women from the highest levels of government on down.
