JPnoodleman's JournalGloria Steinem: "Young women support Sanders to attract men"
Maybe I'm not up and up on the front lines of Gender activism, but isn't Gloria Steinem engaging in slut shaming? I read her words and just read "You only support Sanders because you're a filthy WHORE! SLUT!" among other things. Beyond the laugh-ability of this charge, that female Sanderites are in it for sex with male Sanderites, I suppose she thinks women under 45 are en-mass FeelingTheBern somewhere down south?

So its kind of not fair to measure most women by the standard of most men, because theyre going to get more activist as they get older, she added.
And when youre young, youre thinking, Where are the boys? The boys are with Bernie.
Maher joked that if he had chalked up Bernies support among young women to their desire to meet boys, Steinem would have slapped him.

Could the College Debt issue create a future brain drain?
I had a most, well dire, thought recently.
With the crippling nature of Student Loan Debt, and the practical reality that the United States NEEDS educated young people, what might become of the country should we fail to really solve this? Okay, fullstop, no debt forgiveness, no free college, ect.
Would not this create financial pressure to just simply leave the country and never return to avoid paying it back? Thus a brain drain, and a youth drain as students seek out greener pastures in other countries leaving us with a remarkably older population and only young ill educated workers left.
I may be inducted into the Honors History (Phi Alpha Theta) at long last.
As a personal accomplishment I have been working at for a long time, my GPA and my university work has impressed enough people at the History Department of my college that I have been told that I can get in, even if my cumulative GPA is 2.99 this semester since in terms of courses since I came to this university I have been a straight A student.
I'm pretty pleased with it. This is a thread for achievements! XD
Assuming Hillary can't recover the lost support from Sanders supporters? Is she still electable?
Just a general question and reading the mood about Hillary and Bernie, I get the feeling that the bridge between Clinton and Sanders supporters is ashes and cinders now. On what grounds is she still electable without them?
I mean the GOP is going to be coming at it with full force and fury.
