Bombs away!

http://news.yahoo.com/white-house-exempts-syria-airstrikes-from-tight-standards-on-civilian-deaths-183724795.html

The White House has acknowledged for the first time that strict standards President Obama imposed last year to prevent civilian deaths from U.S. drone strikes will not apply to U.S. military operations in Syria and Iraq.

A White House statement to Yahoo News confirming the looser policy came in response to questions about reports that as many as a dozen civilians, including women and young children, were killed when a Tomahawk missile struck the village of Kafr Daryan in Syria's Idlib province on the morning of Sept. 23.

I had a dream...

...In which the American dream was still obtainable. Then I woke up from my afternoon nap and realized I was dreaming of a dream I had 10 years ago. Well at least I have cable TV for the football game and a frozen pizza I can eat. My PhD in engineering and dual income (married) may not be able to afford a house and a kid, but the Broncos game is on soon! Woohoo! TOUCH DOWN AMERICA!

edit: Just realized there may be some misinterpretation about the 10 years ago reference. It is NOT supposed to mean I liked the Bush years. Just that 10 years ago I was young and had a dream
