My Beloved Milwaukee Brewers are out of contention and beginning to sell of veterans for prospects..

I propose a trade in which we send Carlos Gomez back to the Twins along with Scott Walker for a Lieutenant Governor and two minor league pitchers. Then, the Twins can just release Walker and everyone's happy! Whaddya think Twins fans?

My Beloved Milwaukee Brewers are out of contention and have begun selling off veteran players to

improve for the future by acquiring prospects.

I propose in one of the upcoming trades, the other team also takes Scott Walker. Say, Carlos Gomez and Scott Walker to the Twins for a Lieutenant Governor and two minor league pitchers. Then, the Twins can just release Walker and everyone's happy!

Scott Walker, American Dictator in Waiting

Here's an excellent, thorough piece from Alternet that very accurately describes the Scott Walker we in Wisconsin have come to know, and who I sincerely hope the rest of America doesn't have to. This guy is very skilled in the highly toxic, divisive brand of politics he practices, and that makes him very dangerous. He started a club called "Jesus USA" when he was six years old that blended "patriotism" with his Baptist preacher father's fundamentalist religion. As we say in Wisconsin, uffda.

"Someday, a novelist with Wisconsin roots will tell the story of Walker’s engagement in squalid politics—and whether it carried him to the White House,”

My teabagger in-laws just called to tell my wife and me that Walker had been proven innocent

by the Wisconsin Supreme Court. They said we should stop hating him now and can't understand why we aren't more supportive of him.

Oh let's see... I work for the UW System, we have kids in public school, we like clean water, ...

All Wisconsin Badger fans: this will make you vomit for sure:

As we all know, Scott Walker, who for the past couple years has only been "exploring" the idea of running for President (cough cough) is now officially in the race. The Walker people have wasted no time in co-opting the UW's "W" sign that you make with your two thumbs and index fingers. It now stands for WALKER, not Wisconsin, got it? So when Corey Clement scores the first Badger touchdown this fall and does the "W" sign he's not saluting his teammates, fans, and University, he's saying "I'm all in for Scott Walker!"

Got it? Walker. Not Wisconsin.

Scott Walker throws both Fitzgerald and Vos under the bus over "Openrecordsgate"

This all after both Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and Senate Majority Leader Fitzgerald BOTH said they worked with Walker's office in coming up with these changes. I really think this guy is truly a sociopath. He doesn't care about ANYTHING but his own presidential ambitions and he's willing to hang probably the second and third most powerful Republicans in the state out to dry in his quest.

This is about to get really, really interesting!

This headline in the Madison paper today says it all:

Scott Walker: Open records changes 'a huge mistake' that 'didn't come from us'

From the article: Gov. Scott Walker pointed the finger at Republican lawmakers Friday on a widely criticized proposal to curtail Wisconsin's open records laws, calling it "a huge mistake" that didn't originate in his office.

"I think it was a mistake to even think about it in the budget, even though it didn't come from us," Walker told radio host Charlie Sykes on Friday.

Republicans backtrack on another eleventh hour provision hidden in the budget bill

This time they tried to change the makeup of the committee that oversees the Wisconsin Retirement System that covers all state employees and is generally regarded as the most financially sound of its kind in the nation. Walker wanted to change from the current system that ensures representation from private citizens and from members of the minority party to a simple system in which a ten member panel of political appointees with no requirement regarding party affiliation would have had total control. This would have given Walker the ability to raid the state pension fund to "balance" the budget any time he wants. Walker did just that when he was Milwaukee County Executive to balance his budget while he ran for Governor. The county employees later won a lawsuit and Milwaukee County had to pay back the money with 12% interest (after Walker was gone of course).

Anyway, after a swift and loud outcry from former and current state employees the provision was quickly pulled back. Same crap, different day.
