UPDATED: GOP Deletes 'Civil Rights And Human Rights' From Subcommittee's Name
Sen Chuck Grassley, chair of Senate Judiciary, "along with the subcommittee's new Chair, Sen. John Cornyn of Texas, have changed the name of the Senate Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil and Human Rights to the Senate Subcommittee on the Constitution."

Anti-tax, pro-biz hypocracy of Republicans
Repubs campaigned on the economy but their first order of business was to ramp up their war on women with a spate of anti-abortion bills. But the depth of their bait-and-switch is hidden. An obscure provision in their anti-abortion-funding bill would raise taxes on small businesses.

Voter suppression should be unconstitutional
Since the GOP apparently fears democracy, voter suppression has become SOP for them. It seems unthinkable that our founders didn't include a fundamental right to vote in the body of the Constitution. Maybe it was the influence if John Adams and his elitist ilk who thought the general public was incapable of making such decisions.
This country has proven its hypocracy, as in being so adamant that all Iraqis got to vote as Repubs were writing bills to ensure millions here were deprived of that essential-for-democracy act.
It's way past time we corrected that.

Sasquatch is one of those crypto creatures that brings out both scientists and 'true believers' masquarading as scientists. I've no doubt our ancestors have passed down stories of them, maybe from encounters w/ gigantopithicus or yet-to-be-discovered 'relative.' I'll even admit the possibility of sasquatch's or yeti's existance. But I certainly don't think they'd be as widespread as reports indicate.
