Chuck Todd slyly dismisses the outrageous statements of MCCarthy concerning Hillary...

Chuck the basically dismisses the admission of the kangaroo court nature of the Benghazi investigation (number five?) by saying that Hillary's camp "somehow thinks this is proof" of the political nature of the committee.

Is this guy getting regular checks from the Republican Party?

Congress now expected to come to a complete dysfunctional breakdown...

Wingnuts think that without Boehner they'll reach Nirvana! Watch out America!

Conservatives Rush To Dance On John Boehner's Grave

"Today’s announcement is a sign that the voice of the American people is breaking through in Washington. Now is the time for a principled, conservative leader to emerge," Heritage CEO Michael Needham said in a statement.

In an op-ed for the Independent Journal Review, Red State's Erick Erickson said that Boehner had "increasingly marginalized conservatives."

"Boehner’s problem is that he held more and more of his own party in the House in contempt. In the end, it wasn’t just the conservatives who felt shut out and unable to do business with Boehner. Everyone else did to. So Boehner had to go," Erickson wrote.

Conservative groups like Gun Owners of America and FreedomWorks applauded their supporters' efforts to oppose Boehner.

I thought Trump was suing Hair Club for Men...

Donald Trump Threatens To Sue Club For Growth Over Ad

Lawyers for GOP frontrunner Donald Trump sent Club for Growth a letter Monday demanding that the group cease and desist its ongoing campaign critical of Trump.

The cease and desist demand targets recent TV ads, as well as media interviews promoting the commercials, that suggest Trump is "very liberal." Monday's letter singled out a Club for Growth claim that Trump supports higher taxes, which Trump's legal team says is misleading and comes from a single, 15-year-old article.

"In other words, you lied," the letter said. "Mr. Trump does not support higher taxes. This is the very definition of libel."

VW scandal shows why voting machines can't be trusted!

The automaker's admission that it used proprietary software code to cheat emissions tests shows why Eben Moglen, a Columbia University law professor, has long argued for making such code transparent. http://www.nytimes.com/2015/09/23/nyregion/volkswagens-diesel-fraud-makes-critic-of-secret-code-a-prophet.html?emc=edit_th_20150923&nl=todaysheadlines&nlid=70251688

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) says he had no idea the leader of the state's national guard exceeded the military's weight requirements for years.

A Washington Post investigation published Monday into dysfunction in the ranks of the New Jersey National Guard found that its leader dodged the military's physical fitness requirements. Air Force Brig. Gen. Michael L. Cunniff was formally reprimanded by the Pentagon last year for being overweight and skipping out on fitness tests, according to documents the newspaper obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request.

Christie: He looked slim and fit to me!

Jeb Bush has slipped into total insanity...

Bush said that the U.S. might have a better relationship with Iran, Cuba and Burma, but said that ties with countries in the Middle East and Israel have worsened under the Obama administration. The former governor said that he would improve relations with other countries as president.

"I know how to do this because, yes, I am a Bush," he said, according to CNN. "I happened to see two really good presidents develop relationships with other countries."
