hill2016's JournalCRFB analysis - Sanders health care plan falls short of at least $3 trillion dollars
http://fiscalfactcheck.crfb.org/analysis-of-the-sanders-single-payer-offsets/This is the real issue we should be talking about
Hillary is headed to Flint because her bully pulpit works (she's a progressive who gets things done)
People listen to her.
Yup she's not an elected state official of Michigan.
Last I heard Vermont still doesn't have single payer.
Obama cut SS benefits recently. Nobody can promise not to cut benefits on anyone.
Obama got rid of the "file and suspend" loopholes. If and when Social Security is overhauled we will see more tweaks to the benefits formula.
The Social Security trust funds runs out in 2034. This means automatic cuts if SS isn't fixed.
Fact is, any fix will have some people see their benefits cut.
So it's disingeneous to ask any politician to commit not to cut any benefits.
headlines on washingtonpost.com -> In N.H. debate, Clinton says Sanders’s ideas ‘don’t add up’
Glad they are finally honest about it.
Clinton is a lawyer and a policy wonk. She knows the difference between universal health care and SP
Hence she can fight for universal health care while calling Bernie's single payer plan a fantasy which will never ever ever pass.
Easy to see why Bernie supporters might have gotten confused. Now, who was calling Clinton supporters "low information"?
breaking news ... Associated Press calls Iowa for Hillary! (Note the lack of the word "tie")
People who don't follow politics as closely will just hear the word "winner" in the news.

Hillary Clinton Has Won Iowa Caucuses
Hillary Clinton was declared the winner of the Iowa caucuses on Tuesday after final vote counts showed her narrowly beating Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont, according to The Associated Press and other news organizations.
A win is a win. Remember the hanging chads from Florida? Bush became president.
You can argue who really won Florida but you can't argue about the consequences of the win.
