The Polack MSgt
The Polack MSgt's JournalFantastic
I keep posting Pokey songs, and I keep finding older obscure acoustic tunes... But
But maybe I am doing him a disservice.
He isn't actually a time traveling messenger from 1929. He has a varied, eclectic body of work.
He is a man of his age and his city - St Louis - with all the baggage and beauty that it entails.
This is from his latest record and I think it is a masterpiece of songwriting
Good Morning. I needed a smile, so I thought I'd share this...
In case you needed on as well..

Bernie Sanders Is Quietly Building a Digital Media Empire
http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2018/04/bernie-sanders-is-quietly-building-a-digital-media-empire.htmlWith this, his on going travels fund raising and O.R. organizing it seems obvious that he is setting up for a run in 2020.
As of December 2016, he is no longer a Democrat.
That means he is an opponent to the eventual Democratic candidate.
So - What am I missing?
Glamrock, you missed the point, Bubbles is an underrated sadly misunderstood Canandian MASTERMIND
Rising above the Trailer Park Shit Tsunami - With ART
Carlos Martinez @ the Reds
7 Innings, 4 hits, 0, runs 11 Ks
He twice struck out 2 Reds to get out of jams - Bases loaded 1 out in the 2nd and a man on third with 1 out in the 4th.
My favorite parts - He only did the "almost fall down and throw it 100mph" thing once. His 2 seamer lived at 94. His slider was breaking at a gorgeous 45 degree angle away from right handers. His new for this season 88 mph cutter was making lefties look foolish.
what a great day.
Unfortunately his history suggests that in his next start he will give up 3 earned runs in the first inning and have to sit by the 5th - But today I feel good about our number one starter
