The purpose of this article is to shed a spotlight on the email correspondence between Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Sidney Blumenthal, a civilian, during her tenure as Secretary of State. Using https://wikileaks.org/clinton-emails/ and the search terms "Blumenthal confidential", 562 results appeared (this report lists only emails from the first 301 results). While, all the emails are marked "unclassified" they are also marked "confidential" and ostensibly paint a picture of utilizing Sidney Blumenthal as an intelligence source on various state matters.
This is problematic because while the emails were not classified, they show possible damning evidence of corresponding with Mr. Blumenthal, who was then employed by the Clinton Foundation, not the state department, and was not given proper security clearance to pass along sensitive intelligence to Secretary Clinton. In turn, he did not email her without response, she responded regarding these highly sensitive matters. Since, their correspondence is extensive, some emails will be referenced, that were and were not retroactively classified, to highlight her possible violation of state security rules.

Blumenthal's name came up during the October 22, 2015 full committee public questioning of Hillary Clinton regarding the Benghazi incident, as one of the alleged sources of Hillary Clinton's intelligence. During this hearing Democratic members asked that Blumenthal's deposition transcript be made public so that comments regarding his involvement could be placed in context. The motion was defeated by a voice vote, followed by a roll call vote along party lines."

"Had dinner last night (Tuesday, February 16) with Joschka Fischer. We had an interesting conversation on Iran and Saudi Arabia, among other things. (As you know Fischer is now director of the Nabucco pipeline project.) The iron fist in the velvet glove approach achieves several objectives: According to Fischer's intelligence, Ahmanijehad wished some negotiated settlement but was blocked. The regime has splits at the top. Perhaps true, perhaps not. But constantly pushing negotiations alongside sanctions puts additional pressure on internal divisions, whatever they are. Extending an open hand while brandishing a stick closes diplomatic and political room to maneuver for Iran. Its refusal to accept the open hand justifies application of the stick. Even when sanctions are enforced it always remains useful to say another way is open. The damage done to Iran is therefore the result of its own choice. This approach also aids the opposition. sanctions strategy can contribute to the regime's will to punish and tighten repression. Talking of regime change, of course, undermines the cause of regime change. It is a gift to the regime. The opposition is a new factor in the Iran equation that must be taken into account on the political and moral level. I just contacted the NY Board of Elections to speak to commissioner Mike Ryan, who said he was calling for an 'audit' to see why 120K people from Brooklyn alone, who were purged, who should not have been.
So I said that if you're waiting to see what happened, then you must hold off on awarding any delegates to either candidate until you know what happened. Even if you find out, jail a few thugs, what do you do?
You throw out the results, and NY delegates are not involved. Over. Those 247 delegates no longer needed in the total.
Or, fix the voting machines, assign and post polling places, and fix the voter rolls, not for the next election, but to redo this primary in May or June, according to the rules that TAX PAYERS PAY THEM TO DO THEIR JOBS. If none of this can be done, no delegates should be awarded, or split them down the middle. No NY winner. Maybe the cheaters will get it and will quit cheating?
Finally the advice Hillary gets to smile, say thank you NY and move on is stunning. Her silence on voting rights is deafening, especially from someone who wants to lead the country. She should want this fixed. If she does, it goes a very long way to say so. This happens where her campaign HQ is? She is not bothered by any of this? Stunning! That's why it's bad advice, and this is why she has lost the election. This started in IA. I still want to see those tally books they closed. AZ? Obama's DOJ? I have little faith in anyone to fix this except Bernie Sanders. He knows about all of this! So he is still in the race, and Hillary may not have enough delegates for convention even with NY. But NY results should be tossed into the East River.

WASHINGTON — As secretary of state, Hillary Clinton intervened in a request forwarded by her son-in-law on behalf of a deep-sea mining firm to meet with her or other State Department officials, according to the recently released Clinton emails.
One of the firm's investors had asked Clinton's son-in-law, Marc Mezvinsky, who is married to Chelsea Clinton, for help setting up such contacts, the emails show.
The lobbying effort on behalf of Neptune Minerals Inc. came while Hillary Clinton — now the leading Democratic presidential candidate — was advocating for an Obama administration push for Senate approval of a sweeping Law of the Sea Treaty. The pact would have aided U.S. mining companies scouring for minerals in international waters, but the Republican-dominated Senate blocked it.
Clinton ordered a senior State Department official in August 2012 to look into the request. Her action came three months after an investor in the mining firm emailed Mezvinsky, a partner in Eaglevale Partners LP, a New York hedge fund, asking for his help in setting up State Department contacts.
Clinton relayed a copy of the investor's email to Thomas Nides, then a deputy secretary of state and now vice chairman at Morgan Stanley, a major New York financial services firm. "Could you have someone follow up on this request, which was forwarded to me?" Clinton asked Nides. He replied: "I'll get on it."
