Obviously, it will be Kamala Harris

Joe/Kamala or Biden/Harris 2020!!
Jump on the Biden Bandwagon & abandon the revolution!!

He can never find a way to justify voting for the good.

It's always about keeping someone else from having something that they want too. Acting as if they had all the time in the world to lazily meander down the river stopping to pick flowers along the way... trying to create the "perfect" solution. Making excuse after excuse that "if this one fails, and if the next one fails, and the one after that, we'll just keep trying". Unspoken: until I get MY WAY because I'm never going to compromise.

That old "my way or the highway" and "no compromise" philosophy... the thing that he and his most vocal supporters are most proud of is the thing about him that I consider to be his worst quality. The irrational hatred of "incremental progress" (which, by the way, is STILL progress) only to quash it in favor of doing nothing at all is a monument to the preservation of the status quo. Go figure.

Those philosophies are a sign of personal weakness and political cruelty. It serves no good purpose. It benefits nobody other than to give the politician something to gloat about. I've had enough of it. I have enough of Bernie. And from the looks of the primaries and the polling trends... it's pretty damn clear that America has had enough of Bernie too.

No, it's not ridiculous. The OP is very clear about the distinction being made.

One of these two men is addressing a problem and speaking to the nation about the problem. The other is reverting to "stump speech" talking points and is flanked with a background of campaign signs... thus making it about himself, rather than the nation and the problem at hand.

This is a very reasonable observation to make and it reveals much about the different styles and different priorities of each man and the philosophies of their campaign staff.

Now I know it's OBVIOUS that NEITHER Biden or Sanders was personally responsible for "set design" and how the flags/props were arranged. Obviously, those things were handled by their staffs. But this does give a clear insight as to the inner workings and mindset (and priorities) of the staff... and it also provides a big clue to the priorities of both candidates too.

After all, each candidate (presumably) had a hand in hiring or approving the hires and each candidate is only going to hire top staff who has similar priorities and values and ethics, right? In addition, over time, those staff members begin to learn what their boss likes/dislikes and what the boss expects/accepts/rejects. So it's very fair for the observer to look at these two "stage sets" ... contrast and compare... and come to some different conclusions that draw stark differences between the two men.

There's NOTHING truthful about "there's no difference between the Democrats and the GOP". There's...

Sanders speaks truthfully, consistently. No one else like him.
There's NOTHING truthful about "there's no difference between the Democrats and the GOP". There's NOTHING truthful about "the Democrats are corrupt" or "the Democrats are feeble" or "the Democrats are intellectually bankrupt" or "the Democratic party is an absolute failure". There's NOTHING truthful about "the Democrats don't care about climate change" or "the Democrats focus too much on diversity". None of those things are true.

But you're right about being "consistent" that's for sure. Oh... but I can think of at least a DOZEN others just like him. He's not unique.

All I'm trying to say here is that it really serves NO good purpose for the lies and smears and attacks and negativity. Negativity generates apathy. Apathy discourages voter turnout. Low voter turnout gives Republicans a chance to steal the elections.

It will be used as a platform to smear the Democratic party. This charade needs to end. NOW.

I am looking forward to hearing Biden's responses to the issues. I know Bernie's position, but I don't know Biden's.
Yes, I'm sure. It's like the very first time any of this as EVER been discussed anywhere at all and we've all been living in a cave without electricity or WIFI. GMAFB!

You know perfectly well that it will be used as a platform to smear the Democratic party. This charade needs to end. NOW.

This serves no good purpose. It's just giving false hope to Bernie's most die-hard fans... and it will make their transition and acceptance of reality unnecessarily difficult.

Although the Democratic party will be his main target, it won't be the only target. It's the high-level staff members who will attack Biden with RW talking points and other smears that originate in Russia to the likes of Cenk Uygur, Michael Moore, Cornell West, David Sirota, Brianna Gray, Nina Turner, Matt Orfalea, Phillip Agnew. Afterward, Bernie will try to act all "shocked" that they're "going rogue" without his approval.

As Biden and his campaign and all other stalwart Democrats strive to show how the Democrats are BETTER than the GOP... Bernie is busy telling everyone that there's "no difference between Democrats and the GOP" and "both parties are the same". And that the Democrats "are the party of the one-percent" and that we're "corrupt".

I keep waiting for some Bernie fan somewhere to please explain to me how these LIES and smears against the party do anything other than create resentment and suspicion? How does it encourage voters to support Democrats? It's nothing but negativity. Negativity generates apathy. Apathy discourages voter turnout. Low voter turnout gives Republicans a chance to steal the elections.

I won't watch either. He'll use it as a platform to smear the Democratic party. It needs to end. NOW

Frankly, I won't watch Sunday's debate.

People are not looking at the big picture.
Actually, yes I am "looking at the big picture." We're not stupid, you know. Please explain to me how these LIES do anything other than create resentment and suspicion? How does it encourage voters to support Democrats? It's nothing but negativity. Negativity generates apathy. Apathy discourages voter turnout. Low voter turnout gives Republicans a chance to steal the elections.

I just hope that he doesn't do anything to hurt our chances to beat trump.
Too late.

Calling Warren a liar on national TV didn't help.

And then his patronizing and dismissive response to Warren confronting him... that wasn't a good-look for him.
