There are no rational fiscal reasons for the current round of tax cuts the GOP is pushing. This scheme is fueled by greed. All of the arguments in support are merely smoke and mirrors.

The traditional conservative party has been overrun with Koch/Mercer funded libertarians. They have an agenda that has nothing to do with democracy - and have made huge inroads creating an oligarchy in its place. They don't negotiate and they take no prisoners, and more than anything, they don't like to share--money and resources. The lives of the majority of Americans are inconsequential in the face of their agenda--unfettered control of our country. They are much more of a threat to our safety and well-being than middle-eastern terrorists. Only a united, large and sustained opposition will save us.
