His slow walking appointments to the House Intelligence Committee has shown where his true loyalties lie and they are not with America or the American people. Lock him up!

As the saying goes, truth is stranger than fiction.

How surreal is that? I hope at some future point the Democrats in Congress will pass a legislative fix. (Republicans would never care enough.) No one should ever be required to work without pay or forced to permanently forfeit their paychecks altogether, as so many of the contract workers have had to do. It is nothing short of criminal wage theft.

If Americans have become so anesthetize and docile, they won’t take to the streets when robbed of their paychecks, what else could the powers that be get away with? Stay tuned. There is surely much more to come.

I think Franken would have held Barr’s feet to the fire in his unique way.

Barr was AG during the Iran Contra scandal and encouraged president Bush to pardon everyone who was connected with those crimes. Now Barr is looking at being confirmed as AG, again. He will likely give Trump similar advice—pardon everyone. Given his history and bold lobbying directly to Trump for the AG position, would Barr sabotage the Mueller investigation? The answer seems clear.

Granted, the Elector College needs to be addressed as it was designed for anti-democratic purposes and has given us two recent presidents who lost the popular vote. In the meantime, there is a more immediate problem that needs to be dealt with—what to do about all of the illegitimate appointments and rules that pervade our government.

As the evidence continues to be revealed, we need to keep in mind this makes all of Trump’s appointments and all of his nominations for appointments illegitimate. It also makes all of their collective decisions and rules illegitimate. This goes far beyond a Constitutional crisis. What are the solutions that I believe go far beyond impeachment of Trump? Robert Reich has suggested an annulment. What would that look like? We are in uncharted territory and new solutions are called for. Otherwise, I believe America is over and done.
