The Reagan Revolution: Privatize the profit and socialize the loss!

I write this out of anger with the Reagan Revolution and what it has done to our government and, by extension, our society. Reagan took down the solar panels that Jimmy Carter put up in a concerted effort to pander to fossil fuel. college education for California was shuttered under his term as governor, he essentially waged a war on Unions, etc. It just seems like the route of government privatization was created under him or at least a LOT of the groundwork was laid.
Am I the only one who feels like the progress we made in moving forward as a country in innovation, opportunities, etc. was just plain frozen or pushed to a halt. Sure it started up again with Clinton somewhat but that was tempered with NAFTA and Glass-Stegall being repealed but the effects weren't immediately felt.
It seems like all of his nonsense has had ripples in the political community in general, even amongst Democrats. I know some of you will scream at me 3rd Way Dems. but this is deeper than that. This is an anchor being thrown off a ship halfway to it's destination.
Why are all of us Liberal, Democrat, etc. who are Dreamers letting this man who has been dead for a while stop us? Hillary has been severely effected by this and believes "good enough" is the only possibility. Bernie knows we're Dreamers and serious and Hillary? Well, we'll show Hillary we want change when we boot out most of the Republicans in office who are coming up for election and replace any Democrats who don't snap out of the Reagan infection.
Major change is coming and it comes in the color of Brown, Black, White, Asian, male, female, young, old, immigrant, etc. We will march on the streets of Washington for Social and Economic Justice in prisons, schools, jobs, business, voting, housing, taxation etc. We will march to the State House as well, everywhere.
That last sound, that word forever said, "Ahimsa!, Ahimsa!, Ahimsa!". As Gandhi and MLK did before, so shall we now.

Sorry, just feel so charged up.

Thom's take on Hillary's negative campaigning.

He said some of the accusations/comments towards Bernie during the debate as well as the auto-bailout accusations have hurt Hillary and he lays the blame more at Brock and Podesta's feet imo.
I'm ambivalent here. I'm wondering if, by this point, Hillary is so use to negative campaigning when on the ropes that it's her reflex action or she has just generally internalized it. I wonder if this might be her fatal flaw in this primary. Thoughts?

Has anyone compared the Sanders/Clinton primary map so far to the Lincoln/Douglas map?

It looks eerily similar so far. Yes I know there is Massachusetts but considering Bill at some of voting spots and what happened to Iowa and the controversy with the coin toss. Throw those out given how close they were to ties and I wonder if Hillary will punch through in Ohio and Illinois. I suppose the same concern can be lobbied at Bernie with Florida and I truly wish him the best in getting it.

With the 17 year old primary voting lawsuit in OH, why not call it what it is?

Yeah, we accuse Republicans of this usually but I would say this is clearly voter disenfranchisement.

"I'm not a natural politician". Say it again Hillary....

see if I believe you. Oh sure, you might not have the finesse of your husband but you are most certainly a politician, dyed in the wool even.

If you don't have a plan, someone has a plan for you: A story of Labor Unions Vs. TPP.

When I saw the TPP and the outrage, I am left with one question: Why didn't big labor have a fair trade bill pre-baked like ALEC has so many of?
After NAFTA I thought they would have a pre-bake just in case another toxic trade bill like TPP came up, which it did. Is it that they can't expend the money to keep lawyers on retainer? Are they too fractured?
Please someone explain this to me. I don't understand this for the life of me.

Every time you money bomb Bernie.

Please donate to the candidates running for Congress in your states that share Bernie's values. If you can, match it.

Bernie is not an island, he can't do it by himself.

Ted Cruz wins Idaho...are they turning a corner from racism?

I mean is the Northwestern Front really not that significant for the Conservative vote? I thought they would've come out in droves to vote for Trump's dog whistle but I guess they're a minimal population(thank GOD!).

Thoughts?
