Ever since Reagan's Racist Revolution, our nation has been ignoring New Deal Democrats, and moving towards economic oblivion/stress for 99% of Americans.
"Getting things done" means endless compromise with Corporate Scumbags, with economic policies that only benefit the 1%. We all know the list. We are not even a democracy any more. Nothing gets done unless the plunderers get paid first. Our owners.
Liberals/New Deal Democrats have had enough of compromise, and selling out to the big money interests without even a fight. What Democrat would shut down the government fighting for benefits for the poor? Republicans stop at nothing fighting for tax free status for the billionaires, and their corporations. It just occurred to me. There is so much Clinton Family baggage no one here has not brought up, and the Sanders campaign has not brought up it amazes me.
I am really proud of my DU friends for not going there, even when they are passionate Sanders supporters.
When it is General Election time, it will be history revisited time, and it will be brutal. Non stop history lessons.
Imagine where the Clinton Campaign would be today if they could talk about Bernie's "history" when it looked a lot like theirs. Would be f-ing ugly. Beyond ugly.
