Fatemah2774's JournalCourt rules against 45 AGAIN!
I was doing some browsing of news events and saw this tidbit in Miami New Times. Seems 45 would not pay the remaining $32K to The Paint Stop, so they sued him, put a lien on one of his properties, and he rather than remitting payment, put the disputed amount in escrow.
Judge has ordered 45 to pay the Paint Stop and to pick up the $280,000 legal fees that the store incurred to get this cheapskate scoundrel to remit payment.
I am not trying to report this...and I do not know how to link this...but on a Tuesday with a possibility of facing nuclear annihilation before the summer hits, I wonder how he could actually look at himself in the mirror saying he is for people. And small business. And environment.
Oh, and peace.
Made him cry
Can't forget he made the little boy cry first...I tell ya, I am getting tired of all this winning....
How to Know
Although I am not Christian, I attend interfaith services and one of my favorite chorus refrains which appear to have some relevancy here is...
And They Will Know We Are Christians by Our Love....
Hmmmmm
I agree, and ironically this is why:
Remember always give your best. Never get discouraged. Never be petty. Always remember, others may hate you. But those who hate you don't win, unless you hate them. And then you destroy yourself.
Richard Nixon
And he would know.
Agreeing
The SC seat was stolen...and the turtle changed the rules to steal it...make him own it, and btw...there are other judicial appointments out there for 45 to submit.
OPPOSE EVERY SINGLE ONE. NOT ONE, NOT A FEW, NOT A LOT, BUT EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.
I am not so sure...
Nixon had his moments, but he did not try to upset the social safety net...he worked to get the Clean Air Act and the Clean Water act...he did not gut the arts and humanities to continue the Vietnam War...his paranoia and lack of trust was primarily his own doing, and he became quite the statesman, even if he should have been sent to jail for 1000 years...45 is gutting everything...arts, humanities, VAWA, monitoring police protections, he'll sessions is quietly dismantling forensic science...and by ridding the government of staff and workers in his cuts will increase unemployment...not to mention the real possibility of a hot war with weapons designed for the destruction of the human race...I get scared, and I mean real scared and hope we all can make it to 46 alive.
Introduction
Hello everyone,
I have posted some comments on DU, but never really had the guts to try to write something of interest. However, seeing that I can post maybe I can just introduce myself to everyone. I do love writing and hope you enjoy my story.
I am an African American transsexual who lives in NYC. I am also a US Navy veteran, and an accountant. That is, until I came out several years ago. I lost my job, my apartment, became homeless, and after several suicide attempts was diagnosed with major depressive disorder and borderline personality disorder. Funny how I went from one category of minority being male to transitioning to be female. Oh, and I am also muslim.
I have battled so many demons and truly felt that there was no way for me to ever be happy. However, obtaining disability, Medicare, the love and support of my family, and yes, I even found a Muslim man and we are scheduled to get married next year has made me feel a whole lot better about myself.
So, now I feel a strength and vibrancy that I thought would never be. And during some of those trying times, I returned back to this site for inspiration, humor, and acceptance. I just want to say thank you to all of you posters, and thank you DU for making me see a brighter and better world.
Thank you
Michelle Fatemah Abdus-Shakur
Hear Hear!
Absolutely, and positively agree!
Glad the Senator from NY got my vote, and my support!!!
The Worst Part
The worst part is that this is not over. Theses yokels will get their return on their invesfment even if the entire country is in flames and most of the sentient population resemble zombies on television show The Walking Dead.
That is the tragedy.
