Release the transcripts, Clinton.. or else...

It's going to happen ANYWAY.

That's the funny thing about this. Video/transcripts of those speeches exist and more people than JUST CLINTON have them.

However, it is not in Goldman's best interest to release it them right now, because the last thing they want is President Sanders and they know that if they allow this out there, he could easily defeat her.

However, should the day come that their release might benefit them... they will find their way into the public. So, say it is the general election and there is a candidate on the other side who might serve than even better than the Clinton's have.. suddenly video of the speeches will leak.

Don't worry, top brass at Goldman will remain clean and it will blamed on some 1st year intern in the back row, just incase it fails, they don't want to sour the milk.. it will see the light of day.

So, Hillary, eat your humble pie now before it gets thrown in your face.

If he knew then what he knows now....

May Bernie have chosen 3rd party route over running in a broken party?

I don't think he realized the number of contributors, the amount of money he would raise or the enthusiasm he would gain. The hardest thing about running 3rd party is getting on the ballot in all 50 states. Looking back.. I believe he could have done it.

So if this winds up being Clinton vs Trump... it is absolutely RIPE for a 3rd party candidate b/c you would have two people that people have negative perceptions of on the major tickets.

He can't and won't do it anymore, as he has said he would not... but I can't help but think... what if he started there... Just having his rallies, spreading his message and letting the grass roots do the work for him.

I think he would have had a much easier path.

The second place finisher in the GOP primary got more votes than the winner in the Democratic?

Very sad state of affairs what Clinton has done to this party.

Unless the exit polls are wrong.. I don't think Sanders wins Ohio

According to CNN exit polls 54% of the voters were age 50 and over and Clinton won that demographic 60%+ (The only demo she won)

Sooo, unless there is a surprise number of younger people who showed up.. that exit poll doesn't look good right now.

I'm sorry, I just don't get it. Why protest someone else's rally?

I am no fan of Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Kasich or even Clinton for that matter.. but in a million years, I would never consider going to one of their rallies for the purpose of causing disruption or protesting.

I would consider taking up residence across the street from the rally with signs.. but to actually go into a campaign rally with the intent to disrupt it... I just don't get it.

I feel like all you wind up doing is reinforcing support for that candidate among the people who were there AND the people who were thinking about the candidate... they see the stuff on TV and they become invested... "they" are trying to stop our candidate from spreading their message. "They" are trying to take my country away from me.

I get protesting a president, a senator, a congressperson who is actually making policy.. but right now this candidate (or any candidate) is just making noise. It may be noise we completely disagree or find incendiary.. but taking over the rally and shouting doesn't change anyone's vote. I feel like it has the opposite effect.

I understand the motivation behind it.. people want to protest a racist, spreading stupidity and hatred.. but I feel like those involved are just giving him a better chance at winning.

That was just.... WOW.

I think she just poked the bear one too many times.

The flailing and lies that Clinton had to resort to tonight were just astounding. Bernie sided with the Minute Men? TARP was a success and we got paid back??? She doesn't even understand HOW the dang thing worked.

Let's just hit the TARP nonsense. We LOST MONEY ON TARP. Why? We spent 700B to BUY NON VOTING SHARES in these companies. We ended up selling all that stock for a total of 715.5B 6 years later. But, wait Basselope, you said we lost money.. what is wrong with your math 715.5-700= a 15.5 billion dollar PROFIT.. right??

Well.. small itty, bitty problem. That 700B added to the deficit, thus the debt. And we PAY INTEREST on that debt. About 2.43% (google it). So in the first year of TARP (before a single share was sold) TARP now cost 717 Billion dollars. I am not sure at exactly what rate we divested our interest in the companies, but it doesn't matter. We were already losing money in year one. We probably lost close to 60 BILLION by the time the 6 years was up due to interest charges.

It was very interesting to watch.. but there was a moment in that debate where you could see the look in Sanders' eyes. Enough was enough. When she started with the Minute Man crap.. he HAD IT. And from that moment forward, he owned her. Basically.. compare our records and you will have your answer. The last thing Clinton needs is anyone comparing her record to Sanders.

From that moment on, she was completely thrown off, because she was feeling the Bern!

5 Million raised in last 24 hours! A complete crushing at the debate.

Did the Fox Town Hall help put Bernie over the top?

While I think the debate was VERY STRONG for Sanders, there was something about seeing Sanders in "unfriendly" territory that really brought our his authenticity.

There was no triangulating.. no trying to wiggle out of answer. Just straight forward answers to questions and a willingness to look at the questioner and say.. I disagree with you because...

"No, I don't believe in trickle down economics".

"Because I am a human being".

No false smiles, no sense of deception. No idea that he was trying to dance around the issues. (All f which I got from Clinton when she did her segment).

It REALLY makes me wish that Fox would host a full democratic debate, because I would love to see how both the candidates preform when completely under attack and being asked the type of questions that the Fox News hosts would ask. You want to REALLY see who would preform better in the general election under attack.. let Fox host a democratic debate and see how it goes.

What do Russ Feingold, Ron Wyden, Debbie Stabenow, Maria Cantwell and Bernie Sanders have in common?

They all voted AGAINST TARP.

Why?

Because they knew it was a bad plan and there were better solutions out there.
