Has she changed?

I'm happy to see this positive article, but what's this about "harder edged?" Do you see it? She's pretty familiar to me.

Early voting. Just had a thought.

Is it possible that the same old voters have gotten educated about early voting and we'll find the numbers way down on election day? The result being no particular change since 2012?

I think Trump is losing because he's losing.

He built his whole primary campaign on being a winner. His supporters love winners. He's clearly no longer a winner. Ergo, fewer and fewer supporters.

Thanks to DUers who post ads! I live in Massachusetts...

... and am sorely ad deprived.

New Yorker endorsement. (Warning - quite long :-) )

http://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2016/10/31/the-new-yorker-endorses-hillary-clinton

A little sample.

"Not since the release of the Nixon White House tapes has any political figure had private communications subjected to this degree of public scrutiny. Yet no dark alter ego has emerged. Whatever Americans think about Hillary Clinton, we cannot say that we don’t know her. We do know her. And there is a great deal to admire."

How come the MSM is treating the Podesta leaks...

.... differently (more rationally) than it treated Hillary's e-mail flap? If you looked under the covers there was no more "there there" for the one than the other. Is it possible that this nutty election has taught something to the MSM?

Maybe we should back off of the self-righteous, black and white...

... indignation about Trump's prediction of rigging.

Before you knee jerk respond, I DON'T think there's rigging going for Hillary in this particular election.

But it troubles me to jump on the accusation as un-American. During the civil rights movement there were lots of cries about rigging. And they were TRUE. And we did something about it.

I think Trump is wrong, but not particularly dangerous in regard to this specific issue. Let him point to concrete verifiable instances. We'll fix them. Let him refuse to give a concession speech. After Nov 8th who cares what the hell he does?

But the mere whining of a potential loser isn't going to undermine our democracy any more than the calls for justice in our electoral processes did in the 60's or than they do today.

Bury Trump in a landslide. Restore U.S. honor.

Any evidence that this idea is spreading? Do people care about our reputation in the rest of the world? I really do hope so! Cheers for The New York Daily News!!

I can usually get answers here re polls.

RealClearPolitics had been showing Clinton's average margin as 7.2 above Trump. Today it's down to 6.5, but today's national polls are a flood of good numbers for her. Just one shows Trump with a 1 point lead. Does there average get updated as soon as a poll is listed, or is there a lag?
