NWCorona's JournalClinton Formally Backs Public Option In Bid For Sanders Supporters
"Hillary Clinton will formally reaffirm on Saturday her support for creating a public option within Obamacare and allowing people to enroll in Medicare at age 55, campaign aides have told The Huffington Post.
The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee will also call for a substantial increase in funding in medical clinics that serve low-income Americans.
While Clinton has long supported the creation of new government-run insurance options, and reiterated that support several times this year, this is the campaigns first formal endorsement of the idea.
Not coincidentally, it comes three days before she is scheduled to make her first joint campaign appearance with Sen. Bernie Sanders, (I-Vt.) ― who has championed government-run insurance and federally financed clinics throughout his career and during his own bid for the presidency."

Here's another positive move for Hillary and the DNC.
Clinton Interview w/Wolf Blitzer; 7-8-2016
It looks like Hillary won't be helping the relaunched State Dept investigation.
So Bernie declared he's an independent huh? Watch full interview
But if you only want what people are up in arms about. Go to 7:35 and 14:38 it sounds like he's a democratic to me and can't change his party until he runs again.
People love to jump to conclusions without the facts at hand.

'Super bacteria' discovered in Rio's waters as Olympics near
Source: CNN
A group of Brazilian scientists have detected a drug-resistant bacteria growing off the shores of some of Rio de Janeiro's most stunning beaches, one month before they're due to host the 2016 Olympic Games.
According to lead researcher Renata Picao, the "super bacteria" entered the city's waterways when sewage coming from local hospitals got channeled into the bay.
"We have been looking for 'super bacteria' in coastal waters during a one year period in five beaches," Picao told CNN, during a visit to her lab. "We found that the threats occur in coastal waters in a variety of concentrations and that they are strongly associated with pollution."
Among the beaches flagged were Flamengo and Botafogo, which border the bay where Olympic sailors are scheduled to compete.

I don't think I would go if I was an athlete. Body parts are washing up onto the Olympic beaches!
FBI Director Comey will be giving a statement today at 11am et
And will supposedly take questions afterward.
Maybe the reports are right because it seems almost anticlimactic in a way.
Oil turns white boats to brown in Rio Olympic sailing venue
Source: AP
RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) A new pollution problem has surfaced in Guanabara Bay, the venue for sailing in the Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
Sailors complained Monday about an oil slick that turned white boats brown with crews in town practicing for the Olympics, which open in a month.
"We've never seen anything like this. It was all over the place," said Finnish sailor Camilla Cedercreutz. "There was no way you could avoid it."
It's yet another in a long list of problems confronting South America's first games: the Zika virus, rising crime and violence, budget cuts, and slow ticket sales."

Booker stokes speculation about Clinton VP job
"New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker is now referring questions about whether he is being vetted as a potential running mate for Hillary Clinton to her campaign -- a shift from as recently as two weeks ago, when he flatly denied he was in the running for the job.
"I'm just referring questions about the vice presidency to the woman who is going to have to make this decision," Booker told CNN's Brianna Keilar in an interview that aired Sunday on "State of the Union." "You should talk to the Clinton campaign."
Booker's tightly guarded answer is a marked difference from how he responded to that question last month, when he told MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell: "I'm not being vetted."
Booker is one of several Democrats believed to be under consideration by Clinton. Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia, Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro, Labor Secretary Tom Perez, Sen. Sherrod Brown of Ohio and Rep. Xavier Beccera of California have all been floated as potential choices.
One factor that potentially could work against Booker is that he's from a state with a Republican governor, meaning his seat in the Senate would almost certainly be replaced by a Republican were he to be elected vice president."

I'm really wondering who it will be.
