DEPLORABLE: The Economist Calls Hillary A ‘Creature’ Who Is ‘Unloved’ (HRC GROUP)

We have documented over and over and over and over and over and over again how the media persist in running stories about a supposed lack of enthusiasm for Hillary Clinton – despite the fact that she is winning by a large margin and has energized the Democratic Party. This narrative is the zombie frame that refuses to die.

Just days after Vanity Fair incredulously wondered, “Has Hillary Outstayed Her Welcome?” – a truly nonsensical rhetorical question about a candidate who won her last primary by double digits – the Economist has published an equally dreadful and sexist piece. In it, they refer to Hillary as a “grand dame,” using the terrible headline “Unloved and Unstoppable.”

They describe her, throughout the piece, as “not mesmeri[zing] on the stump…icily controlled…hectoring…scandal-dogged, distrusted and divisive, a workaday campaigner with a style and résumé at odds with her party’s humor…not ideal.”

They go further: “Her oratorical weaknesses contribute to Mrs Clinton’s reputation for shiftiness.” All of this in the first seven paragraphs.

But worst of all is that she is “unloved.” Her supporters back her “with less obvious enthusiasm.”

She is, they assert, unlikable.

Promoting the piece on their Facebook page, they lead with her being “scandal-dogged, distrusted and divisive,” and describe her as “the archetypal establishment creature.” Creature.

Hillary Clinton Tells Charles Koch To Take His Fake Endorsement And Shove It

By Jason Easley on Sun, Apr 24th, 2016
http://www.politicususa.com/2016/04/24/hillary-clinton-tells-charles-koch-fake-endorsement-shove.html

Hillary Clinton told Charles Koch that she has no interest in endorsements from people who make deny climate science and make it harder for people to vote.

Hillary Clinton doesn’t want a fake pseudo-endorsement from a Koch brother. Koch’s comments should be viewed as an attempt to weaken Clinton’s support among Democrats. Clinton was correct. The Koch brothers are the biggest funders of the right’s effort to discredit climate science. The Koch brothers are also behind the movement to make it more difficult for people to vote.

Everyone knows that the Kochs can’t stand Donald Trump, but it will snow in hell before Charles or David Koch supports a Democrat. The Koch brothers will be running hundreds of millions of dollars of negative dark money ads against Hillary Clinton in the fall. Don’t be fooled by what Charles Koch says. Watch what the right-wing political operation that he is funding does.

Vanity Fair Asks If Hillary Has ‘Outstayed Her Welcome’ (HRC GROUP)

SEXISM: Vanity Fair Asks If Hillary Has ‘Outstayed Her Welcome’

http://bluenationreview.com/vanity-fair-asks-if-hillary-has-outstayed-her-welcome/

Hillary Clinton isn’t just winning the Democratic nomination, she’s doing it in the face of an unprecedented onslaught from the right, left and media. At BNR, we will not shy away from calling out sexism and misogyny wherever and whenever we see it.

There’s not much to say about this Vanity Fair article other than that it’s repugnant and sexist.

Vanity Fair should be ashamed of publishing such a demeaning headline. When you ask if the candidate with millions more votes and more enthusiasm than anyone in the race has “outstayed her welcome,” there’s only one word for that.

Melissa McEwan ?@Shakestweetz
On what planet does it even make sense to suggest a candidate who won her last primary by double digits has "outstayed her welcome"?

Bernie Sanders: 'Poor People Don't Vote...That's Just a Fact' ~NBCnews ~ (HRC GP)

Videos in link: http://www.nbcnews.com/meet-the-press/bernie-sanders-poor-people-don-t-vote-s-just-fact-n561051

When asked why he thinks he's losing in those states, Sanders responded, "Well, because poor people don't vote. I mean, that's just a fact."

In an interview airing on NBC's "Meet the Press" this Sunday, Sanders described the voter turnout among low-income Americans as "a sad reality of American society, and that's what we have to transform."

He credited his campaign with working to bring more young people into the voting process. He explained that they have "had some success with lower income people. But in America today, in the last election in 2014, 80% of poor people did not vote."

Sanders pointed out to a salon.com article to prove his point!!!!

The Young Turks host urges his fellow Bernie fans to support Hillary Clinton in November

http://www.dailynewsbin.com/opinion/the-young-turks-host-urges-his-fellow-bernie-fans-to-support-hillary-clinton-in-november/24566/

Another day, another prominent supporter of Bernie Sanders begins the provisional pivot toward Hillary Clinton. In a week which has already seen Sanders endorser Robert Reich urging his fans to tamp down their anti-Hillary rhetoric, and Sanders donor Patton Oswalt suggesting that any Bernie fan who doesn’t support Hillary if she’s then nominee is a “child,” now the host of progressive talk show The Young Turks is steering his own Bernie-leaning fans in a similar direction.

Well, at least one of The Young Turks hosts is coming around. After Jimmy Dore went on a bender in which he referred to Hillary Clinton as a fascist and made the bizarre argument that the nation would somehow be better off under Donald Trump, he was swiftly rebuked by host Cenk Uygur. The popular Uygur bluntly stated “I’ve been to too many Holocaust museums” by way of making the argument against Trump’s racist and scapegoating policies, and making clear that Bernie fans would be far better off by voting for Hillary if she’s the nominee.
