Day after endorsement, Ryan slams Trump ~ To do with the "Mexican" Judge (HRC GP)

http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/03/politics/clinton-statement-on-trump-university-judge/index.html

(CNN)Just a day after House Speaker Paul Ryan endorsed Donald Trump, he turned around and blasted the presumptive Republican nominee for attacking the judge overseeing the Trump University lawsuit.

While explaining his endorsement Friday on a Wisconsin radio station, Ryan -- unprompted -- ripped Trump's attacks on the "Mexican heritage" of U.S. District Court Judge Gonzalo Curiel.

"Look, the comment about the judge, just was out of left field for my mind," Ryan said on WISN in Milwaukee. "It's reasoning I don't relate to, I completely disagree with the thinking behind that."
And then Ryan issued a warning to Trump, that he will speak out when he feels he needs to.
"So he clearly says and does things I don't agree with and I've had to speak up on time to time when that has occurred and I'll continue to do that if that's necessary -- I hope it's not," Ryan said.

Ryan's comments came shortly after Hillary Clinton's campaign slammed Trump in a statement for targeting the U.S.-born judge's Hispanic descent.
"The fact that Donald Trump doesn't see Judge Curiel and his family as Americans makes him unfit to be president of this great nation, a nation of immigrants," Lorella Praeli, director of Latino outreach for the Clinton campaign, said in a statement.

Bernie Sanders himself voted twice in support of regime change in Iraq in 1998 (HRC GP)

Sanders supported Bill Clinton’s war on Serbia, voted for the 2001 Authorization Unilateral Military Force Against Terrorists (AUMF), which pretty much allowed Bush to wage war wherever he wanted, backed Obama’s Libyan debacle and supports an expanded US role in the Syrian Civil War.

More problematic for the Senator in Birkenstocks is the little-known fact that Bernie Sanders himself voted twice in support of regime change in Iraq. In 1998 Sanders voted in favor of the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998, which said: “It should be the policy of the United States to support efforts to remove the regime headed by Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq and to promote the emergence of a democratic government to replace that regime.”

Later that same year, Sanders also backed a resolution that stated: “Congress reaffirms that it should be the policy of the United States to support efforts to remove the regime headed by Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq and to promote the emergence of a democratic government to replace that regime.” These measures gave congressional backing for the CIA’s covert plan to overthrow the Hussein regime in Baghdad, as well as the tightening of an economic sanctions regime that may have killed as many as 500,000 Iraqi children. The resolution also gave the green light to Operation Desert Fox, a four-day long bombing campaign striking 100 targets throughout Iraq. The operation featured more than 300 bombing sorties and 350 ground-launched Tomahawk cruise missiles, several targeting Saddam Hussein himself.

Even Hillary belatedly admitted that her Iraq war vote was a mistake. Bernie, however, has never apologized for his two votes endorsing the overthrow of Saddam. On the rare occasions when Sanders has been confronted about these votes, he has casually dismissed them as being “almost unanimous.” I went back and checked the record. In fact, many members of the progressive caucus in the House, as well as a few libertarian anti-war Members of Congress, vote against the Iraq regime change measures. Here’s a list of the “no” votes on the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998:

Abercrombie
Bartlett
Brown (CA)
Carson
Chenoweth
Clay
Conyers
Davis (IL)
Doggett
Everett
Ewing
Ford
Furse
Hastings (FL)
Hilliard
Hostettler
Jackson (IL)
Jefferson
LaHood
Lee
Lewis (GA)
McKinney
Miller (CA)
Mink
Paul
Payne
Pombo
Rivers
Rush
Sabo
Serrano
Skaggs
Skelton
Stark
Towns
Vento
Walsh
Waters

So what changed? Only the party in power. In 1998, Bill Clinton was president, pursuing his own effort to takedown Saddam’s government.

Another lawsuit against DNC and NYSDC? by JEFF KURZON about Superdelegates (HRC GP)

JEFF KURZON - DEMOCRAT FOR U.S. CONGRESS (NY-7)
JUNE 2, 2016
Why I Just Sued the DNC and the NYSDC

Today I initiated a lawsuit against the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the New York State Democratic Committee in the Southern District of New York (1:16-cv-04114) seeking injunctive relief.

From the beginning of this 2016 election, the process has been rigged by the DNC and its corresponding state committees to conspire to dilute the votes of citizens like myself. This has acted as a de facto form of voter suppression to make the election seem that Secretary Clinton is much further ahead than she really is according to the will of Democrats. According to the DNC, our votes should only count for approximately 5/6 of a vote. This is undemocratic and violates my constitutional rights. It is also a breach of contract as explained in the complaint because the DNC charter is inconsistent with itself on its terms.

My hard working attorney, Joshua A. Douglass, is doing this litigation for me, for all Democrats, in fact, pro bono. To support his efforts, please consider a donation to his Go Fund me page found here: https://www.gofundme.com/255xxw4.

You can read a non-conformed copy of the complaint here.

Thank you for your support and interest.Feel free to contact me with any questions.

Sanders jabs at Clinton's foreign policy credentials following speech (HRC GP)

Bernie Sanders took a swipe at Hillary Clinton’s foreign policy credentials on Thursday in the wake of her speech attacking Donald Trump’s proposals.

"I agree with Secretary Clinton that Donald Trump's foreign policy ideas are incredibly reckless and irresponsible,” Sanders said in a statement. “But when it comes to foreign policy, we cannot forget that Secretary Clinton voted for the war in Iraq, the worst foreign policy blunder in modern American history, and that she has been a proponent of regime change, as in Libya, without thinking through the consequences.”
On Thursday, Clinton gave a speech that took Trump to task for his temperament and foreign policy proposals that she believes makes him unfit for the presidency.

“Donald Trump’s ideas aren’t just different; they are dangerously incoherent,” she said. “They aren’t even really ideas, just a series of bizarre rants, personal feuds and outright lies.”

Sanders has taken issue with Clinton’s own foreign policy, routinely blasting her for her early Iraq War support and her praise of Henry Kissinger, another former secretary of State.

In his statement on Thursday, Sanders added, "We need a foreign policy based on building coalitions and making certain that the brave American men and women in our military do not get bogged down in perpetual warfare in the Middle East. That's what I will fight for as president."
