Hillary Defeated Sanders

It's tough when your candidate loses, and it takes character to accept that defeat without resorting to slander, conspiracy theories, and right wing tropes.

Doesn't the Wall Street Journal know that Hillary Clinton is their best friend??

Diehard bernie or busters are breathlessly sharing an un-sourced story in yesterday's Wall Street Journal that claims that vaguely worded emails sent to Hillary Clinton were actually cryptic messages concerning upcoming drone strikes.

I'm not sure which is more bewildering: why the WSJ is trying so hard to damage Hillary if she really is Wall Street's shill, or why people who insist they are progressive are relying on conservative sources like the WSJ for their information.

The AP is being targeted by angry Sanders's supporters for calling the nomination for Clinton.

While there were no immediate security threats, employees were advised to practice "situational awareness".

And the charm offensive continues.

Did the Democrats just send a message to Sanders?

I think they've made it clear that Sanders doesn't get to redefine terms in common usage to suit his narrative and that the supers are not going to undo the will of the voters. They're done indulging him, and his argument of winning through entitlement and threats is not going to work.

AP declares Clinton only needs 60 more delegates

to secure the nomination.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Hillary Clinton scored a sweeping win in the U.S. Virgin Islands on Saturday, picking up all seven pledged delegates at stake as she inched tantalizingly close to the Democratic nomination.

She is now just 60 delegates short of the 2,383 needed to advance to the November general election."
