They don't allow comments on any of her work, and her work exclusively attacks Democrats. Her core prime objective appears to be getting Tulsi Gabbard or Bernie Sanders as the nominee, to ensure a Republican victory. What an odd, odd situation.

Falwell Jr is in hot water for saying things about the students at his fake college, and evangelicals are mad at him. But the millions given to cabana boys? The lies? The fraud? The use of the college as a hedge fund to springboard personal loans and the creation of a massive real estate empire? The alcohol use? The additional cabana boys? The nightclubs and lying about them?
No, none of those things even registered. That's Republican morality for you.

The GOP plan is pathetic and evil, but the pre-existing condition surcharge is less punitive than
what I expected. I have a lot of worries about folks who lose coverage due to jobs ending, not being able to make premiums, etc., etc., and I was especially worried by talk that seemed to suggest that the Republican plans would allow companies to refuse customers with pre-existing conditions if those customers had had a lapse in coverage.
The 30% surcharge they are suggesting (you would have to pay 30% for a year if you had a lapse of 63 days or more during the previous year) is punitive, will be cruel to poor people and folks on a fixed income, but isn't the return to the past that I had feared.
Ultimately, I think that the small semi-compassionate touches like this will be what prevent the rightwing Republicans from supporting the GOP's proposed "Obamacare Lite" bill, as the rightwingers call it.
Strategy Sessions
It appears unlikely that sessions will resign, but it is good that he has been hamstringed so early. Even though he lied before Congress, he claims that he will recuse himself when appropriate. Democrats must push for him to recuse himself from the Russian investigation immediately.
Trump and Sanders and Stein
Trump likes Ellison. The Sanders people like Ellison. Hell, Jill Stein probably likes Ellison! When will Democrats catch up with their well-wishers?

When I look at the photo of smug Jill Stein sitting with Flynn and Putin, at an event where she and Flynn pocketed Russian cash, I recall that I have hated that freak since the first second I heard of her. She is evil incarnate.

We must be merciless
For the past few months, I have been torn between my ethical and positive self and my ruthless Machiavellian self.
I believe that we have reached a time in history where Machiavellian power politics must be used in order to preserve the Republic.
I believe the Democrats must beat the Trump Administration to the ground with allegations that Trump and his henchman are operatives of the Kremlin.
At this point, it does not matter to me if this is true or not. It has the appearance of Truth, and there is a long history of Trump's involvement with Putin and Russia.
Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump were able to make much progress with their lies about Hillary Clinton and the emails. We must learn to use messaging this same way, so that Democrats can save the United States for the future.
So I read the TRO from Judge Robart
The ruling is interesting to read as a document. The court notes that the question before it is whether or not to stop implementation of the executive order (EO) until a full ruling can be made. The court then notes that it has jurisdiction, then lists the four things that must be demonstrated by the plaintiffs, namely, that their argument against the plaintiff "is likely to succeed on the merits" of the complaint, that the plaintiff can establish "irreparable harm in the absence of preliminary relief" from the court, "that the balance of equities tips in [plaintiff's] favor," and that "an injunction is in the public interest." The court also notes that there is an alternative test for a preliminary injunction or temporary restraining order ("the Cottrell test"

The court then states that the plaintiffs successfully demonstrated that the four above conditions have been met, as well as the alternative test.
Harm to the states of Minnesota and Washington would be "in areas of employment, education, business, family relations, and freedom to travel," the ruling states. "These harms are significant and ongoing," the ruling states. The ruling concludes with a statement that the court orders all involved with the enforcement of the EO to stop enforcing the EO in Sections 3(c), 5(a), 5(b), 5(c), and 5(e). There are also specific injunctions upon "proceeding with any action that prioritizes the refugee claims of certain religious minorities." In the conclusion, the court notes that its job is to make sure that laws and executive decrees "comport with our country's laws, and more importantly, our Constitution."
