Cross country musings.
Got bored last week and the wife and I packed up the Challenger and decided to travel around the country till September. We left California and have met some very nice people along the way and some strange ones as well.
Will post a few things about the trip along the way so far.
Met a family in Arizona eating bbq they had cooked on their car engines manifold cover at a rest stop.
They offered me a sample...I tried it. Tasted like chicken with a hint of 30 weight motor oil.
Simply Devine...I give it 4 out if 5 stars.
Along Interstate 40 in Texas/OKLAHOMA I saw huge billboards asking me if I Was Saved through Jesus?

I must admit those signs did get me thinking about the spiritual fitness of my eternal soul for a time but then inevitably a couple exit's down a billboard for Juniors adult book store and cutlery outlet would snap me out of it and back to reality.

I saw this tandem of Jesus/Porn advertising along the way a few time.
Was at a truck stop in Indiana and Fox had Trump on the tv talking about crooked Hillary and getting away with the dreaded email non scandal. Two fat white truck drivers ahead of me were talking about it.
One driver looked at the other and said out loud.
"That bitch Hillary. ..I smell a ni&&er in that woodpile"
I was shocked, not by his views but that he thought it was acceptable to say that in public.
