Russian State TV Comforts Viewers on Nuclear War: 'We All Die Someday'

Jesus Christ, these maniacs might get us all killed.

Russia's state TV tells viewers 'we're all going to die someday': Nuclear war is 'most probable outcome', viewers are told, 'but we will go to heaven while they simply croak'

Vladimir Putin will launch an all-out nuclear war on the West rather than accept defeat in Ukraine, Russia's chief propagandists have declared, in just the latest chilling threat coming from Moscow.

Margarita Simonyan, editor of state broadcaster RT and one of the Kremlin's highest-profile mouthpieces, declared on TV last night that the idea of Putin pressing the red button is 'more probable' than the idea that he will allow Russia to lose the war.

'Either we lose in Ukraine,' she said, 'or the Third World War starts. I think World War Three is more realistic, knowing us, knowing our leader.

The most incredible outcome, that all this will end with a nuclear strike, seems more probable to me than the other course of events.

'This is to my horror on one hand,' she told a panel of experts shifting nervously in their seats, 'but on the other hand, it is what it is. We will go to heaven, while they will simply croak... We're all going to die someday.'

Simonyan's calm imagining of nuclear holocaust is just the latest threat issued from the top levels of the Russian state, after fellow propagandist Vladimir Solovyov, foreign minister Sergei Lavrov, and Putin himself issued threats in the last 48 hours.

The US and UK have dismissed such rhetoric as bluster but the increasing frequency of the threats coupled with the failures of Russia's military will raise fears that a Cold War-style standoff is now a realistic possibility before the war in Ukraine ends.

It comes after Russia successfully test-launched its latest nuclear missile - Sarmat 2 - last week, with Putin boasting it can strike targets anywhere on earth and cannot be stopped by any current missile defenses.

Screw Russia, Screw the Russian culture and people who support this sick demonic shit, and screw their invading hordes of barbarians. The country needs to be completely broken down and reworked like what happened with Imperial Japan, there's no redeeming this shit. Send Ukraine all the best and deadliest stuff, and let them not only drive out the barbarians, but push forward for revenge. This is an actual good vs evil war at this point.

"For the children" written on side of Russian rocket that killed dozens at train station

Good to see the Russians continuing to be world class monsters.

A Russian rocket that hit a Ukrainian train station had "For the children" written on the side.

The Friday morning attack in Kramatorsk killed dozens and injured over 100 people, authorities said.

Civilians had flocked to the train station to evacuate the city ahead of an anticipated Russian assault.

A Russian rocket that struck a train station and killed dozens in eastern Ukraine on Friday had a Russian phrase meaning "For the children" written on its side, Ukrainian officials said.

At least 50 people were killed and over 100 were injured after two Russian rockets hit the train station in Kramatorsk, which is in the Donetsk oblast.

Ukraine's communications center tweeted that two children were killed in the attack.

The phrase — seen scrawled in white on the side of a purported Russian rocket in photos and video from the scene of the attack — translates as a message that the missile was sent in vengeance for children, not that it was intended to be used on children.

Russian propaganda has accused Ukrainian troops of killing children even as Russian forces fire on civilian targets, including a theater in Mariupol that was serving as a shelter for residents and children.
