New Monopoly tokens. Do you like?

We'd been hearing for a while that the thimble, the boot and the wheelbarrow were all on the way out. Now the replacements have been named: the T-rex, the penguin and the rubber ducky.

Are you pleased with this "upgrade"???

Sound the privacy alarm! Police get search warrant for everyone who Googled a certain name

This is from Edina, Minnesota, a community of about 50,000 people. The idea that this could become a common practice is certainly cause for concern. You could become a suspect just by virtue of having typed a name in a search engine.

A search warrant issued to Edina police to collect information on people who used certain search terms on Google is raising concerns about constitutional violations.

Privacy law experts say that the warrant — issued to find a suspect in an attempted identity and credit theft of an Edina resident — is based on an unusually broad definition of probable cause that would be troubling if it became widespread.

“This kind of warrant is cause for concern because it’s closer to these dragnet searches that the Fourth Amendment is designed to prevent,” said William McGeveran, a law professor at the University of Minnesota.

Issued by Hennepin County District Judge Gary Larson in early February, the warrant looks at anyone who searched variations of the resident’s name on Google from Dec. 1 through Jan. 7.

Raiders may try to acquire Marshawn Lynch

Could there be some gas left in the Beast Mode tank? Apparently they're weighing Adrian Peterson as another option.

The Oakland Raiders are strongly considering the acquisition of retired running back Marshawn Lynch, either through trade or by his release, league sources told ESPN on Friday.

For now, Oakland would have to trade for Lynch because his NFL rights remain the property of the Seahawks, as he has two years remaining on his contract. Seattle general manager John Schneider and Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie have a long-standing relationship, as they worked together in the Packers' front office.

Under terms of his existing contract, Lynch would be in line for a $9 million salary and cap hit in 2017. In 2018, he would be due a base salary of $7 million and could potentially earn an additional $3 million roster bonus. With Lynch out of football last year, Seattle could ultimately decide to release him for the sole intent of having him sign with Oakland. In that scenario, Lynch would be free to negotiate a new deal with the Raiders.

"It could really happen," one source familiar with the situation said Friday.

Will Trump ever admit he was wrong?

It's not his style to acknowledge miscues (or outright lies), but in making the Obama wire tap allegations it is increasingly clear that he has absolutely no evidence. Even his closest allies are refusing to back him up.

Is it possible that Trump will finally humble himself and admit that he goofed? Maybe even issue a mea culpa? Imagine that, acting like a real human being!

BBC crew, tourists get a little too close to Mount Etna eruption

For the camera crew and reporter(s), there ought to be some danger pay in this sort of assignment. For the tourists, well, a dose of common sense would do.

Spicey going on the offensive

Won't answer wire tap question without dressing down the media for not showing the same "passion" in covering a supposed lack of evidence of a Russian connection.

He's ranting!

This Syrian man enjoying music while surrounded by rubble

was captured in a photo that is resonating with many people.

It was a picture perfectly framed by a war: a 70-year-old man in socks and sandals, smoking a pipe beside an old record player, in the gray-dusted ruins of his bedroom in Aleppo.

The world has followed Syria's long civil war through viral images. Even so, after six years of bombings and atrocities and dead children, rebel surges and army advances, a single still frame of an old man on a bed stirred something deep in many people, many thousands of miles away.

“A moment of tranquility amongst Hell on earth,” someone wrote on Instagram, where Agence France-Presse posted the photo Friday.

“A novel in one shot,” The Washington Post's Ishaan Tharoor tweeted three days later.

Kayleigh McEnany

I rarely agree with her, of course, because she's a Trump defender. However, I have heard her mildly agree a few times that Trump has made a misstep.

She is poised, especially for 28. She maintains her composure. She doesn't interrupt (too many Republican and Dem pundits speak over each other).

I do like that CNN sometimes shows a split screen and you can see McEnany's face contort a little as she sits there and absorbs the criticisms of Trump. Her eyes narrow and her lips purse as if she's wondering how anyone could lower themselves to question the great Donald!

Anyway, she's the Trump disciple that I dislike the least. I guess that's what I'm saying.

I was wondering what happened to Katrina Pierson, so I Googled her. Apparently she turned down the job of deputy press secretary under Spicey.
